So the truck takes 8 quarts but I pulled 7 1/2 out so does that mean the dealership shorted me a whole quart of oil or is my truck burning oil 2020 Silverado 1500 49,000 miles?
@jameshanna7397Ай бұрын
Bet that didn't last six months.

Always engine should be warmed up before you dump the oil. The drain plug is 12mm not 10

For everyone asking about the tape the top side is much easy to control the flow to get a clean finsh so the tape controls the bottom for a clean finish

Thank you for making this video. It helped me locate the oil plug and filter before changing the oil for the first time in my new-to-me 2020 Silverado. 😊

Used Sawzall to cut up my old Glastron boat, easy to do, took couple of days, hauled pieces to landfill. The I switch blades and cut up rusty old trailer, and scrapped the metal at a recycler. Course I still have the chevy 350 4 bolt main motor, which with effort could run again. But why?
@benjamintucker19643 ай бұрын
Sell that to a race car driver 4 bolt main 350 is a hot item for the track

@@benjamintucker1964 interesting it has some value still. That engine was in a mid 80's GM vehicle. I put it in the boat and it was a very good engine.

The end of the pipe was long enough for the magnets on the level. He also put the no dog on the top of the pipe when it was supposed to be on the bottom. There’s a concave on the bottom of the level before the screw.

MPSS was explained to BP staff in Glasgow in 1988, they rejected it! In London they still did not get it. Even5ually after Conoco and Shaell, and the original supporters they got it! Exhausting to explain a multi discipline design to such a compartmentalized company.

I would advice against using a finger instead make a 45 degree bevel on the outside the silicone will adhere better because there is no whisper thin layer at the edges
