I’m from the area all these trails around here were all made when 3 wheelers were big. Kinda hard to believe people would bring a trike up there haha. It’s a crazy trail and there has been a lot of people flown out over the year. Awesome video man, you just scratch the surface of what there is to explore out there

So is your plan to put on some kind of windows to keep the heat in from the heater you had installed?

Yes sir, a poly windshield. We might have found an issue with the heater install as well. Polaris is reviewing and going to get back to us. They may have left a step out of the instructions.

Just FYI, the wheel beaeings are NOT sealed……what you are calling a seal is in fact a “shield”…..these are what is known as “shielded” bearings. /and they do need to be greased periodically. I just pulled my originals at 20,500 miles! Yes, you read that number right.
@crunchtimeatv8763
@crunchtimeatv8763 5 ай бұрын
I realize the the seals aren’t attached around the inside diameter of the bearing and the steal piece is a shield. With my type of riding, the bearings need to be greased, there’s no question. 20,500 miles!? You need to teach the rest of us a thing or two.

3700 miles on original 2015 xp1000 wheel bearings. Keep em greased and they'll last. I filled till greased oozed out.... any excess oozes out when operating and has been fine. ..It's not like they're airtight It's when they go dry the issues begin...

So you do know you can over grease these bearings and you did. There’s actual specs on this never fill your bearings more then 2/3 with grease. This actually will cause your bearings to overheat and wear prematurely. I just went through a bearing and lubrication class for industrial plants and equipment. Not saying I never do this but just passing on information I just learned.
@crunchtimeatv8763
@crunchtimeatv8763 2 жыл бұрын
I’m completely aware of that. As I mentioned in the video, with my riding this is the lesser evil.
