Plexiglass is acrylic. Polycarbonate is a different material with different cutting characteristics.

The secret is to orient the two surfaces with glue TOWARDS each other. The other way just isn’t effective.

pilot hole 1:58 , Purchased a counter sink much like that shown. If you notice, it clogs with chips and also shown, leaves a very ragged cusp on the counter sunken hole. Not the end of the world but in a project of about 1,000 holes, it becomes annoying.

Just seeing this now...beautiful work. Question: I am working on an inlay with some very, very thin lines...and even with a 1/32 inch bit Origin won't cut out the pocket....any workarounds? Is is possible to "disable" Origin and have in pocket out, even if the pocket will be slightly larger than the bit diameter? Thanks!

Purchased this planar as well after my craftsman gave up the ghost. Gotta say this is definitely a different league and feeds directly to my dust collection system. Haven’t used it a ton yet but… Very smooth operation and easy to use. Solid addition for the amateur wood worker. Anyone tried 5-6” hardwood on it yet?
