Are you saying at 5:03 if you come to this right turn and are waiting in the BOX, if the light is RED and there is no oncoming vehicles we can make the Right turn even though if the light is on RED?

Hi Chris, and thanks for the useful videos, I have driving test routes on google maps, but suddenly they don't work anymore. i.e. there is no start bottom anymore. have you kindly faced the same thing?

Failed my test here earlier this week at the first junction, just after you turned at the roundabout. I was waiting behind other cars to turn right at the junction, just when it got to my turn, the light turned amber but the road was clear, i was about to turn right when the examiner asked me to stop. I knew there and then that i had failed. I did every other right, just that one mistake. I hope i get that route again, it was fairly easy to drive

I would not recommend palming so much to the right for 2nd to 3rd, because that risks accidentally hitting 5th. For 2nd to 3rd your palm should be mostly behind the stick facing forwards. There may be a bit of push to the right as you come out of 2nd but the centring spring should do 90% of that for you, then simply push forward with your palm to go naturally into 3rd.

Whilst this a real test route, we are not allowed to film or distribute an actual test online. So we just drove the route so you can see it. Pull ups and parking can take place anywhere.

Also, check your blind spot after increasing your speed on the uphill slip road before moving into the right hand lane, they come flying down there off the motorway.

12:26 when you enter this dual carriage way where the new speed limit sign?? I saw 30 just before give way sign and before the junction of dual carriageway and then 14:27 the speed limit sign shows 40. Please help

No, there’s about 30 different test routes for Chester, this is just one of them.
