This made sense. My cocker used to enjoy fetching a ball or dummy now it ignores them and would prefer to sniff or run in the bushes. I’ve tried in a field and it fetched twice but then started ignoring again

Hi Steve, thanks for your comment! Yes, we are a mobile app-based community. Just search Gundog in the App Store and on Google Play. There are details in the description of this video but for more information just head over to www.gundog.app

Hi Andrew, Great you like our cinematic videos. Gundog App is a membership so the videos you have seen are teasers to give you an idea what the content is like. All the ambassador videos are free and hopefully that shows you the value that members of our community are getting from the app 💪🏼 All the best and good luck training your gundog. Kristian

Unfortunately, you don't show or explain the months or years of particular training steps that got this terrific dog to this point. I have a 2 year old field springer that would never endure that discipline, so there's little to learn here other than the end result of training that is not explained.

Interesting to watch and lovely to see such light touch control. I've got spaniels, a Lab and GWPs. Mostly GWPs. I would be interested to see what you're doing with them. Who do you use for your HPR training?

So, id no idea what a gundog was, only heard it as part of to the late Queen Elizabeths funeral im watching as I write this comment. Good old KZbin, never fails 2 deliver BUT this video which, was the 1st I picked has blown me away! Wow, & bloody amazing are my thoughts. The vid in its entire content from, the music, the narrative, the chosen footage, the skills of the dogs handlers & the relationship between them, all 1st class & impeccable!! Worthy of the late Queens views on gundogs as far as im concerned. Well done, loved it👍🏽

Start them early. Dogs are amoral, you have to teach them right from wrong. Between 8 to 10 weeks in their impression period. Teach them to learn by showing them what you want and reward that behavior by simple petting and kind words. A simple but effective “no” a couple of times sends a clear message of what not to do. I have found that most of not all of dogs bad behavior is man made simply because of not starting basic learning at a young age, and that doesn’t mean a year or two old.
