judging by their reaction some of these fishes act like they've never seen a speargun in southern france where I live believe me they know they also know the specific noise a rubber band speargun does when you press the trigger and they take off nice video keep posting more tak 4 sharing : )

I didnt know you norvegians actually harvested Glassvar (I mean the other flat fish at 2:53). I thought they did not taste good. Whats your opinion on them?

Glassvar are very delicate, however many fishermen say they are thin and the taste is awfull. The individuals we bring home are always fat and in good condition, maybe thats why they are better..

As a fishmonger, we do sell Glassvar(scharretong) in Dutch sometimes. But the specie is unknown and thus unloved, and thus quite cheap. They are often thinner compared to other flatfish, so we don't fillet them but prepare them whole, but I still find them good eating.

Hvor på Bømlo er dette? Jeg har kjempelyst til å komme i gang med fridykking og UV-jakt, etter mange års pause, og Bømlo er hjemstedet mitt. Håper å få til noe i feriene fremover, når jeg er hjemme.

Great video and amazing catch! Your videos got me into spearfishing :) I'm based down in Stavanger but definitely need to do some trips up North. For me Turbot/Piggvar is the best tasting fish.

Fantastisk video. Min son på 4 år älskade att se de andra barnen upptäcka/och få erfarenheter om djuren i havet. EDIT: Jag älskar dina övriga spjutfiakevideos likaså. Uppskattar verkligen att du skapade en sådan fin video som vi kunde njuta av tillsammans här hemma.
