I see I'm not the only one who had this epiphany. Granted, there are some key differences between them. But on a basic surface level, yes. Mewtwo and Shadow the Hedgehog are extremely similar.

@@japan-flanders1078 I have a copy of doki doki. However I determine my next games I play on streams with Super Smash Brothers Ultimate CPU tournaments. Basically highest level CPUS represent games i own and they fight each other. Winner is what I play. I could add Doki Doki to the next round though depending on what happens between now and then

YES!!!! They easily could've left it there and fans would only ask how did he get her back but it would be a satisfying ending. What can they focus on now? Master of Masters? Ok, but he isn't built up for the main storyline heroes. Not like Xehenort was. Anything they do I fear is going to be underwhelming by comparison.
