Xtreme 2 still being a good choice, but if you have the money go for the Xtreme 3. Charge is for people who don’t like to carry heavy and big speakers.

I have this subwoofer box but my top is silver colour (found it at the garbage without the amp) , i put a sony 6ohm woofer in there and use Edifier M1360 2.1 amp plus changed the satelites to pioneer 4 inch small satelites good combo. Never knew that this philips home cinema set was so expensive. btw those philips subwoofers have large xmax but bad power handling loose suspension, very easy to unload even with low power and crossover not higher than 100hz

Put a bassport in it xD. Same with logitech z333, i remember how angry i was with my logitech z2300 satelites and the fake bassport, Funny thing is that drilling these holes and creating a a maschine to fabricate those fake plastic tweeters cost about the same as putting a piezo in there with a cap . These manufactures are so frigging lazy and stupid, as soon people realize the tweeters is fake they wil dislike and not trust the brand, its bad marketing...

Cerwin Vega is clearly the best. The Audio Pro has a cheap sound with a mediocre high.

It seems to me that the best performance would be a combination of both systems: low frequencies from the Vega and mid/high from the Audio Pro. It's unfortunate that the Vega can't provide a cleaner, more natural sound.

Nice! The 3 way CerwinVegas are usually allot better than the 2 way versions in this model. But the Vegas still hold their own!

Speaker size is completely pointless. Everything depends on the quality of the driver, its excursion, magnet strength, and other T-S parameters. I have a video looking inside $3000 Magnat Quantum speakers, where the driver is only 7 inches in size, yet it performs amazingly.

Both sound good, cerwin vega more low end and warmer sound, i think the audio pro needs an lpad on the tweeter to compensate for the low sens woofer. The audio pro would also benefit from a 80/100hz crossover

Audio Pro: cleaner and more powerfull heights, less mids than the Cerwin Vega, deeper Bass with less upper Bass. Cerwin Vega: washed out heights, more mids than the Audio Pro. Less deeper Bass than the Audio Pro but more upper Bass. So i would say the Audio Pro winns, because they Sound way more differentiated, crisp and natural.

Would be funny to remove the tweeter on the cerwin vega and use the audio pro its woofer and tweeter in a combined 3 way system, cerwin vega woofer crossover at around 450/500hz, or around 100hz but that wil just make it a subwoofer (wel the cerwin vega sorta is a subwoofer with a tweeter)

It would sound better with 3 way Gladen RS 165, which could cover almost all the audible spectrum. Or maybe, also with a little 6'5 or 8" sub

Сейчас новая ревизия этих колонок ещё хуже , там вместо отдельного трансформатора , стоит импульсник прям на самой плате усилителя да и усилители хуже не как на видео, короче хлам , но сам басовик показался неплохим. И у меня все время какие то помехи на 1 секунду , аж раздражает. Скорее всего переделаю.

mine is having issues! 😭😭 16years of pure clean sound and now it started with a buzzing noise from the board. Stops when i change from direct output or not, sometimes turning on subsonic or loudness makes it stop. But it's been warning me for a while. I don't wanna lose it! 😥😥😓😓
