I respected Monica Florez but multiple videos show that all she does is parrot official talking points without any actual nuance or self research...

How come when I do it? None of the stuff comes rolling back out when I tilt my head the other way.
I’ve had the honor of rotating with Dr. Florez and to this day, I can still say she is one of the best preceptors I’ve ever had! Students truly get an experience that allows them to be the provider and practice their clinical skills. I’ve never felt more challenged and I’m so so grateful for the learning opportunity with Dr. Florez. If you want to become a thorough and caring provider, Dr. Florez is the way to go!

why are you talking so fast?
@drmonicaflorez38368 ай бұрын
I have a lot of information to share, and as a private pediatrician I only get 10 minutes for visits and on videos most peoples attention, spans are less than three minutes🙃 this is why I started my KZbin channel so that I could teach my parents virtually and reinforce what I say in the office. But it does make it difficult for listeners not used to my style…gentle suggestion go to the settings and slow me down by turning down the playback speed, after 20 years of talking this fast there’s no way I can slow down 🐇 🐰 😃

Dr. Florez was genuinely one of the best preceptors I had. She truly cares about you as a student/person and puts you in a position to thrive. She pushes you to really learn and makes you feel more confident in yourself and your abilities. She is eager to answer questions and never makes you feel less than. If you are lucky enough to be placed with her, know that it will be an amazing experience.

Dr. Florez, my amazing pediatric rotation preceptor, has been instrumental in shaping my career as a PA in urgent care. Her guidance not only boosted my confidence in pediatric patient interactions but also significantly improved my skills in assessment and care. I am deeply grateful for her invaluable contributions to making me a better healthcare provider.

Dr Florez wasn’t my official preceptor but I did get the chance to work with her a few times and I really enjoyed it! Right off the bat she asked so many questions and really tried to get me to think broadly about everything going on with the patient. I leaned so much from just the 3-4 times I got to work with her. She is a wealth of knowledge and such an amazing pediatrician whom all of the patients and parents trust!

Dr. Florez was my first preceptor and remains my favorite! She is incredibly smart and completely understands how to effectively teach students, patients, and parents alike. I am so lucky to have had this experience and I know every student feels the same. She has many attributes that I hope to exude as a future provider.

I had the pleasure of doing my pediatric rotation with Dr. Florez and it has been my favorite rotation so far. She challenged me every day, which helped me become more comfortable approaching and educating both pediatric patients and their parents. Dr. Florez is very passionate about her job and loves teaching. Her rotation is a great opportunity to learn from the best pediatrician in the area.

Hi Dr. I have a six weeks old baby. ever since born he sound congested evry night and frst thing in the morning when he only just woke up but his nose is not runny and he cough sometimes. Please inlighten me im worried and dont know what to do. Thank u
@drmonicaflorez3836 Жыл бұрын
If his growth has been doing well regards to his height and weight gain. He does not have issues, shortness of breath etc. when he eats he does not have a runny nose or cough and most importantly he has been checked out by your primary care doctor, then more than likely he has normal congested breathing to due to normal baby, small nose, fat cheeks, fat neck, and soft, tracheal anatomy but anytime you have issues or concerns. Please make sure you have your baby examined and evaluated by your primary care physician.

can overfeeding cause rapid breathing? thanks doc
@drmonicaflorez3836 Жыл бұрын
If overfeeding results in overweight than it can cause congested breathing, if the nipple size is too large, and the baby is receiving too much milk at a time that can cause difficulty breathing but anytime a baby has rapid breathing with feeding I would worry about his lungs and heart, and I would have him examined by a primary care physician

My daughter is just 1 week old and she does not have any symptoms just breathing fast. I took her to the emergancy where they checked for becteria and virus everything came normal. But still when she sleeps she has got the same fast breathing ...which make me so worried...what should i do.... Plzz reply
@drmonicaflorez3836 Жыл бұрын
Fast breathing can be normal you should count the number of breaths in a minute by watching her chest come in and out normal babies especially newborns will breathe 40 to 60 times per minute as long as she is feeding and growing well not working hard to breathe by grunting flaring, her nose or retracting her chest and she has been checked out by her primary care physician. It may be normal.
