You can fix this for free if you have a PC. Look up "restore xbox 360 hdd partition 2". I did this to a 3rd party hdd and it worked. I can now play OG Xbox titles with it.

I try recapture that feeling I got as a kid with gaming. On my Megadrive, Ps2, Dreamcast. My Dad used to be a Lorry driver when I was a kid and every so often he would randomly bring me home a game. I distinctly remember one time he bought me Shaq-fu for my Sega mega drive. I had absolutely no clue this Shaq guy was a real basketball player being from Nothern Ireland. I remember being in absolute awe of all the cool looking characters and I can still picture some of them and their theme music. It wasn't until years later I saw that people mock that game, is known as one of the worst games. Which baffled me. But I think it's because now, we have so much variety it's overwhelming. Back when I was a kid, I had whatever came with the console or if I was lucky the odd game here and there as a present and I didn't care what it was, I found enjoyment in it. I got myself a ps2 again a few years ago and a 720p upscaler, but more recently I've been playing my bros 360 which he left here when he moved out. Got Hitman Absolution for £1.50, known by most as the worst Hitman game. I stuck it on easy, played through it like John Wick, had a blast. Finished it to the credits. Started playing Mafia 2 tonight. Was just in fricking awe of the Snowy city of New York in the 50s, the cars, the clothes, just walked about for ages. My point is, I think rather counter intuitively, if you go into a game with no expectations. I think it's a more enjoyable experience. I actually really like how xbox live used to give 2 free games a Month and they were just random games you might not ever think of playing. Honestly I would probably sign up to a subscription service which posted me two random 360 games a month to play through. It would probably capture that feeling again that I had playing Shaq-fu. Apologies for the lengthy text. Appreciate if you read it. Thanks Kris.

I still haven’t made it very far collecting-wise, but my goal is to just get the games and systems that I want, rather than buying and hoarding everything I see. It’s easier on your wallet (most of the time) and it makes each purchase feel much more meaningful.

I emulate 90% of games i play. I own a few gems but my collection is small, ones i do own are very special to me. Taking Chrono Trigger out of its box and setting up the SNES isnt exactly complicated (actually i dont even own an SNES), but i still prefer gaming on a cheap handheld device. If my entire collection was lost in a fire id be sad, but it wouldn't effect how i play games very much. Some people take vacations to golf, others spend a lot hunting, i splurge on 30 year old video games i grew up with. What i love most about retro games is almost ANY game can be played for very cheap. I probably spend more than most would on certain games but those are for me. The thought of telling someone else the 'right' way to enjoy a hobby is silly.

I disagree and think repros are always valid for games you can no longer buy from the creator. Buying an official pokemon cart second-hand for a ridiculous price doesnt benefit anyone who created nor owns the rights to that game so I dont have any issue buying a cheap repro online for a reasonable price.

I gotta disagree with the last one. Digital storefronts(especially companies like EA) believe buying does not equate to owning. Until we can get these companies to wise up and allow ownership, a digital collection just can't equate to a physical one.

I am huge fan of this game and I enjoyed this video! Here's a few points I want to bring up: -If you're having trouble landing on rails to grind, try a character with a higher grind stat! The grind stat determines how easy you'll stick to a rail to grind. Yoyo and Rhyth have really good grind stats -I personally never had a problem with the skyscraper level. I had much more problems with Sky Dinosauria Zone, mainly with finishing the street challenges and getting the graffiti souls. I found the skyscraper district to have plenty of checkpoints and health cans to almost never die in the level. It can be frustrating to fall into a pit, but you're placed pretty close to where you were usually. All-in-all, your criticisms are totally justified for a new player. Most levels towards the end of a videogame tend to try to challenge the player but I never had much of an issue. I got a little frustrated getting some of the last graffiti souls but after 100% finishing it, I say it's a fantastic game worth playing for old and new gamers.

What gaming and collecting mean to me is the end goal I want to achieve. Whether it's comics, DVDs, books, or games, I make a list. For example, with games, I list the titles I really want and set a reasonable number. For instance, I chose 20 games that I really wanted to play as a kid but didn't have the chance to. Then, I go from there. The same applies to comics. I recently completed my collection, aiming for a short box of comics, which now sits next to my reading chair. It took me 2 years to achieve this goal. So, I think it's about having a clear end goal for your collection and games. It's important to remember that there's always a sustainable way to go about it. Whether it's watching game walkthroughs on KZbin, borrowing games from friends, or finding other alternatives, buying isn't the only solution.
