We used to turn up late 5 or 6 ish? from a night out at Coalesce or Rhythm Method and enter the marvellous manic maelstrom when S. S was at Vauxhall. What an atmosphere and everyone was having a banging time. What a way to spend Sunday morning.

i was at Strawberry Sundae religiously every weekend (from the Drury lane days) preferred it there before the move to Vauxhall. these tunes brough back so many memories. great mix!

In all my years clubbing going back to 1982 (all the big weekenders Caister etc in the big funk rooms), Spectrum, Trip and loads more acid house places in 1988 and around the M25 in 1988/1989 (admittedly I wasn't around in the hardcore era) but I have never been in a club anywhere in England as wild and frenzied and just up for it as Strawberry Sundae. i took my friend who hadn't been raving since the early 1990s but had been there all through the acid and unlike me the hardcore era and he turned to me on his first trip the Strawberry Sundae in 1996 when we first got in there and said "this is mental!" he'd never seen anything like it, Nor had I went I first went! it got him clubbing all over London like it was 1988/89 again.
