It took an hour to get my pregnant wife to the hospital just the other day, how do i take her on a bike, people have told me to ride a bike, like what?!?! It used to take 15-20 mins in and out of culver. This is a failure, if you dont drive good for you, but to get me out of my car?!? I have places to be, i love my planet but dont push your agenda onto our lives. Ride your bike, i do aswell some days but i dont need a whole freaking lane for it. Project failure.

The Metro-micro program is a poison pill. These micro-transit programs should only be for the mobility challenged (elderly, handicap, etc). They are very expensive per ride and cannot be expanded to serve the public at large. Any money put into them outside of the truly needy is just money not available for real transit solutions.

Let's be clear, after $600 Million allocated, decades of debate almost 100 studies. there are no plans to bring consistent rapid transit to South Dade. In addition to stopping at 46 intersections, riders will have to wait up to 30 minutes to transfer. This project is a failure and has already fail victim to BRT creep.

This plan is really good and forward thinking. It's much needed and she does a fantastic job in just 15 minutes explaining the plan. We need more housing ASAP. DTLA needs to turn into the most livable part of LA in terms of affordability, mobility, and sustainability. And right now it's way behind. Right now 2/3rds of our downtown just for industrial? That's not a city of people, that's a city of warehouses. It's insane that the downtown of the second biggest city in America has less residents than Santa Monica. In fact that's almost unbelievable. Our downtown is a shell of what it should be. She talked about how they are removing parking minimums and height maximums, with some constraints to make sure the new buildings fit in with the existing area. Perfect. I hope this zoning code change becomes a model that the rest of LA quickly adopts. The mobility improvements are really important to me too. Downtown looks like a network of highways surrounded by freeways. It's not safe to walk or bike in LA because we're swimming in cars. We need to take public space away from cars and give it back to people.

A high speed rail in most places of the USA is a totally asinine idea. It's ridiculous because of the extremely high cost compared to the extremely few benefits obtained. It's not cost efficient, not in the least. And this is why it's an extremely "ideal" project for California. After all ... California needs countless reasons to demonstrates its supreme lack of wisdom and intelligence. I used to live there, and must say ... I sure as hell do NOT miss California.

California has the worst crime and the least support and respect for police; California has more welfare recipients than all other states combined; California has the least affordable housing. Intelligent Californians are moving out of California and going to more intelligent states, which includes damn near all of them, but in particular going to Utah, Idaho, Texas, and Florida. Guess where many celebrities often have their 2nd or 3rd or 4th house? States like Montana. Guess how "affordable" an ordinary 1,500 square foot 3 bedroom house is in California? Such a house can be had for a mere $650,000 in the most affordable cities. You know ... the gutter cities where no sane person lives. @@danielcarroll3358 MIGHT YOU HAVE A SAMPLE OF CALIFORNIA'S INTELLIGENCE FOR ME? Fill in the blanks. @@danielcarroll3358- Quite the contrary. It's a blessing to never need to deal with the idiocy of California ever again. Idiocy ... ? How so? >> High crime, unaffordable everything - in particular out of control housing costs, zero control of illegal immigration, zero support for police a budget which is every bit out of balance as idiot Joe Biden's budget is, a population which entirely supports the woke agenda which is anti-American in the extreme.
