Hello. Thanks for answering my question bellow about how to use the acid pack hard water liquid. Just so im clear, you are using one fluid ounce ot a.gallon? Seems like an awful lot. The blottle says 2mls per liter. A fluid ounce comes out to about 30mls are you using that much based on how hard your water is?

I am wondering if you can find out how he uses the Alltech 4way acidifier, dosage, frequency, etc.?
@ConradQuintana
@ConradQuintana 22 күн бұрын
I use the Alltech Hard Water Acid Pack 4 way. Ventura water is the "hardest" water in CA. It's a liquid form not a powder. I spoke with a Veterinarian from Alltech and I follow their suggestion. I give it to the birds on race return day (sunday) and 2 -3 times a week depending on how the birds are flying. I give 1 ounce per gallon of water. It has electrolytes and acidifies the water so it is less likely to allow diseases to be spread thru the water. In the last YB race season, I had no sick birds all season. I won 1 race and 1 combine and several diplomas in 9 races. I like this product and would recommend it. If you don't need the "hard water" version, you can get the Acid Pack 4 Way from Alltech or Acidifier Plus from Kastle products. Conrad

If you ask Mike Ganus whats wrong with a bird he’ll put them in a 4-1 medication hes a Money guy, he draws Pigeon folks because he brings in the most expensive birds winners he buys that he did NOT BREED🥱 find a guy who figures out FOR him.

Not that I disagree with your statement, but the adage, “there is more than one way to skin a cat” comes to mind. Mike had to start somewhere and I’m going to assume. He didn’t just get handed a sack of money and started buying all the good birds in the world. The man paid his dues in the pigeon world. He raced club level at some point in his career. Now whether he was successful in that is now irrelevant. He is now the most well known pigeon guy in the USA. So to say Mike just has money and his way of doing things is some kind of a lazy man’s work I think is a little misleading. He got to where he is at because of what hard work and effort he put in. I think he has earned his spot. This is coming from a fancier who is not a Mike fanatic either. I would rather support the smaller successful lofts. I think their birds are screened better and get better attention from the fancier. Good luck with your races.

Mike Ganus has money thats it. As a pigeon guy not so good. Any guy that has money can do what Mike Ganus does. If you look and study Mike Ganus entries in One Loft races he sends 10-20bird team that produces NOTHING. But hes supposed to be the best right….its the people that buys from him that figures it out. Mike Ganus is a business Man smart man money man. As a pigeon guy NOT so.

@@Celinesloft Yes, I have to hold to experience myself. That's why I ask for a specific meaning because the lingo in this hobby is unique to this hobby. Example: buoyant, tight vent, heavy feed, candy feed, light feed, ect.... These are all words used in this hobby that a new person will not understand until someone explains/experience it to them. I still don't know what tight vent means.
