Broadacres flea market and Boulder Highway swapmeet. Broadacres is huge and opens Friday at 4pm, Sat & Sunday 6am to 5pm. Many vendors leave before closing. Boulder Highway swap is open from 6am to 3pm each day. Some vendors also leave early and the place is very small. Just about any thrift store works. There isn’t one that I feel is the best. The ones I go to the most are nearby in the centennial area 😊

Congrats Sonny! Thats wonderful news!!! Beautiful lamp shade, hopefully youll find the actual lamp that goes with it. I reccomend looking in antique malls and vintage junk shops.

On the big swung vase- I wouldn't pick it up by that top glass part- that top piece will likely break if picked up a lot that way...Just a suggestion. I just broke the handle off a wedding basket by picking it up by the handle...😭

I envision heartwarming memories ❤️✨ there are a few items recent that I’ve come across that reminded me as a kid having garage sales at our great grandma’s house. Took one look at the lamp and said nooo! Then you took the globe off and I breathed! Go to the Midwest and east coast. The only way to find the real deal is to get away from the flea market crap! Shopping to learn not to buy for a bit. Good luck in this new venture!!❤

Maybe years after it was made. Since it resembles pieces of Daum Nancy either the person etched the name on believing it was by DM or rip someone off. People do that to this day unfortunately. It’s better to get it appraised. Much easier to do now than way back then.

Simplest way to explain my sourcing is picking up things that make me happy and worth reselling. Sometimes I go against the grain, but focus more on what I’m confident in.
