I like those double stops. It is hard, I find, to put together a variation on this one, perhaps because it is so hard to improve on the melody! Your idea works.

Thanks, but I got the move from the banjo walk-up by Bob Carlin on ‘Bangin and Sawin’, I just put chords to it. It works well although everyone has to know what’s coming!

I'm afraid not, I couldn't download it off Rte Player, and I had to screen grab these two clips. A pity, as it was a well made look at a lost world.

Hi there - plodding on here, nothing else for it! That clip was from and RTE documentary ‘The Four Roads’ about travellers and it went out in 1973 as far as I can see. It’s worth a look if you can hunt it down, a vanished world.
