Ha! My baby got a hair cut. But that's okay. Hair is still pretty. And baby is still a tall dark glass of chocolate!

It's nice to see them live from 1990! Lead singer and song writer Eddie Cornelius has the same voice as in 1972. This said I just listened to the official recorded version and the background singers are weaker in the live version, missing the other Cornelius brother, Carter, who Wikipedia says quit the band because of a religious conversion.

What I long for, musically, is the 1960's & 70's harmonies. Also the sheer excellence of lyrics and music. What we have today is trivial and completely uncaring performance and writing.

As James Brown once said and was criticized for, “ every great black artist has to engage a white audience if they want to have an audience as they age because black fans tend to just go with what’s current “. His words ,not mine “.

Timeless memorable classic music. Unlike the crap that spews on us today. Everything sucks. Least if we had member berries, this crap show wouldn’t be as bad. Thank KZbin for taking me back to a much simpler time. When people actually cared about each other and God was as strong as ever. Bring us all back. God bless

This was the last song I sang to my best friend before he passed away a few years ago. We always used to sing random songs. Me a Woman and him a 6'5 burly dude. He called me one day when I was jamming to this and instead of "hello" I just burst out into the song 😍 we both laughed. I miss him. He always tried to be nice and say my singing voice was "tolerable" 😂 I know full well it sounds like cats in heat 😂 anyways, thats my weird story for this song 😍 RIP Jr! ❤
