I toured one of those homes, and there were some flaws, off centre cooktop installation, smallish rooms, and not to mention the fact that it smelled cheap like everything was made in China. It's way overpriced at 850k. It looks like a Hollywood set from the outside. It's disturbing. With that kind of money, just buy a piece of land and build a nice home, or renovate a loft. This is cookie cutter kitch.

Even though I live in, by far, the flattest state (Florida), this looks oddly flat to me. We don't notice it because our roads are like a plate of spaghetti. You are so busy swerving that you don't realize how flat it is. The elderly stopping at green lights and homeless junkies begging at every intersection also distract you from noticing.

Some corrections and additions : Population is only between 24,000 and 25,000. Area is not 2 miles north and 2 miles south. It's actually 2 miles total (north to south) and 6 miles east to west totalling 12 square miles. However, there are many residents living outside the city limits proper that are still close enough to say they live "in Mustang". Every year there is a celebration called Western Days that includes a decent sized parade, a rodeo, and local businesses selling their products. Adjacent to the Community Garden in the Farmer's Market open in the spring and summer. Besides the food establishments mentioned there are dozens more, most better than the national fast-food chains.

We're from LA and just spent a week in Oklahoma and drove 1,100 miles around the eastern half of the state.. also checked out Broken Arrow and Jenks in Tulsa area. Edmond didn't impress us much. Our impression was that it's getting to big to fast. To many people moving there. To much congestion/traffic, the very thing we are trying to get away from. Downtown OKC seemed to have less traffic lol... We cancelled Edmond as a possible place to move to. But to each their own, just not for us.

@@OklahomaRealEstateReviews No idea. We like the OKC area more, but more south like between Tuttle and Newcastle, and South of the 37 to Bridge Creek, Blanchard, that whole area. My wife is really warming up to the idea of moving there but she's not 💯% committed yet. We'll know more in a few months I figure.

Correct, Texas does not have a personal state income tax. Also Texas does not have corporate income tax but does levy a state gross receipts tax. Texas has a 6.25 percent state sales tax rate and an average combined state and local sales tax rate of 8.20 percent. As per TaxFoundation dot org.

In 2024 is the dog food plant still open I heard it wasn't? what area is the good part what area to avoid so I won't hear the train How do I get the city of Edmond Oklahoma to fix the roads the neighborhood roads are really damaged lots of patchwork 400k up houses on bad residential roads who do I complain to ? I decided not to buy a house because the neighborhood roads were so bad at one point Edmond has all this money but the neighborhood roads are bad very dilapidated

I believe it is, google is not saying the plant is closed and their website is has 4 job openings currently. the further one lives from the train the less likely they are to hear it, just depending on your desire of distance that could be 10 to 20 miles. roads are important and can cause a lot of damage if not maintained, reach out to Edmond City Hall and they will be able to direct you to the right department. thank you for enjoying the channel and commenting too!!!!
