I dunno, man. This didn't seem to be a debate. Baldwin made his case, which was in line with the purpose of the event - the American dream at the expense of the Black man. Buckley's speech was "what can we do about it?". He didn't counter Baldwin's view at all.

Per me non è vero niente. Si tratta soltanto di una trovata pubblicitaria - macabra - per attirare turisti a Sligo. Solo una delle tante fake news di internet!

I'm surprised that they simply pull shells out of the ground by hand like that at 1:27 without knowing if it is unstable or not. Seems like those things could detonate just from being moved.

The perfect prison with one loop hole, if all the prisoners at the same time assumed there is no guards to watch and moved in an organised manner, they'll escap so easly no matter the guards exist or not.

Dear Daniel O’Callaghan My Mother was from the town of Hospital County Limerick and then came to London with her sister at 18yrs old and married my father from Mayo in 1957. They both had wonderful family upbringings, very happy and healthy times. There was seven of us brought up in London likewise we had a great upbringing - our parents would remind us of the treatment the Nuns or Christian Brothers would try to dish out to the school children of the day in the 1930’s. I hope your happy and settled in the USA, one of my father’s brother Tony immigrated to New York in 1965. I wish you well and all the best 🍾

Thank you so much for this. My father was one of those that swam for his freedom. This definitely gives perspective on what he went through early in life. He has since passed. I wish I had asked him about his past so I could understand the struggles he went through so that I could have the freedoms I have today. I will forever be grateful for his sacrifice.

Buckley did not stand a chance against Baldwin. I mean not a chance. It was obvious when he started his speech.

They were there because the church and the state tried to protect them from their own filthy disgusting behavior of 403's and protect society at the same time. Now degenerate radical feminists want to let it see like all this is normal. Just look for a good husband and do not give yourself to the first chad that comes. Now take responsability for your actions and don't try to blame the ones that tried to help you.

My grandad was there, told me a story of being told to turn around and face the other way when it went off. He said he could see the bones through his arms and legs for a good 5 seconds…. Crazy shit! Lived till 91, unfortunate he’s not around to get the medal.

Buckley comes off as laughable when he accused Baldwin of affecting a British accent for a section of his brilliant speech. Buckley’s rhetoric was is tired and sophist. Baldwin’s words are as current today as when he delivered his presentation in 1965.

Lots of horror focuses on the psyche and an emotional journey leading to catharsis. Horror is in a unique position to capitalize on that because of how vulnerable it makes the viewer/reader using fear.

Very beautifully filmed. Exceptional, really. The director should make a feature/documentary. I so hate to see these Kangals/shepherd's ears cut. It's a mindless/cruel tradition.
