I've been a BF fan since 1942. BF4 is my last favourite in the franchise.

BF1 is a great game, but BF4 is actually fun.

Bad Company 2 was pinnacle xbox 360/ps3. Bf3 was amazing. Bf4 was good, but nowhere near Bf3. Bf1 was imo the pinnacle of what battlefield is supposed to be. Bf5 was… Bf5. And now we get to deal with a shell of it’s former self.

Although I loved BF1, it never hit the same as the good old battlefield games. Well said mate <3

Id take BF 4 over 5, 1 and 2042 any day of the week. Yes BF1 is alright but no its not fun for me. Bad company 2 holds many great memories, so does 2 and even 3, but the nostalgia doesnt outweigh how good they still are.

As many commenters have said before... I'm assuming BF1 just doesn't exist in your universe?

Bf1 was ok. Had some glaring issues I noticed near the end of its lifespan. Bf4 did too, but it's older so it only makes sense for it to be imperfect. Bf1 didn't add a whole lot more
@ZirSarge2 ай бұрын
It didn't have the staying power that even BFV did. At least in Australia I remember it being a challenge to find lobbies throughout its DLC season. The Martini-Henry rifle was great though!

BF3 Amazing and had clear skill gaps. BF4 Amazing and had clear skill gaps BF1 Skill gap lowered for sure. (Visually stunning and one of the most polished releases) BFV Just didn't enjoy it at all. I have a 5+ K/D with a 70/30 infantry to vehicle use ratio on all of them so I'm not salty for being bad. I'd get 100+ kills a round on BFV and not have fun 😢

My last videogame I bought was a physical copy of Warhammer 40k Bolt gun and I haven't upgraded to the latest generation of games because of the online all the time.

I have found nothing more annoying as now only a casual gamer is getting time to play a game, hopping on and finding out I have to update for 2 hours. On top of that most likely the update is irrelevant Andrew can't play without downloading it because it's an always online game like everything now.

Conceptually, live service games are great. Reality, the only one's that are built sustainably are things like Deep Rock Galactic & No Man's Sky currently. MAYBE things like Fortnite as well.

I dont see cod ever receiving such a turn around. They have become just another cash grab shooter that esports and streamers use to promote themselves and the games in the process. The unique and fun gameplay/gimmicks are just no longer there. They keep relying on nostalgic fans of the franchise and the newer unaware generations that cannot resist buying any new one they release. Its the same thing with gta. Now that gta 6 trailer has officially been released we see people going gaga over it since they have been waiting so long. However, there is like no gameplay in that trailer. Its simply theatrical cut scenes showing off the trailer like a movie. When the game actually releases in 2025 it could look completely different and nothing like its trailer. Maybe even dissapointing many fans. This shows they are just trying to get people hyped over the new products release rather than actually create a good product the fans can accept. So many people fall for their marketing tricks its pretty pathetic.

In my honest opinion. We all just should stop buying games like stupid consumers. That's what corpo SOB want. If a game is lacking or is boring you. Do not buy it. If the videos, gameplay and such does not even motivate you why should you invest an hour in this? Do we really need annual CoDs? My last CoD was MWII, after buying it only after a year and when a huge sale came around. Did not buy Vanguard, Cold War and won't buy new cods until they have something to offer. Like immersion and controversy.

I don’t see Microsoft being the savior to call of duty mostly because this franchise has really gone downhill over the years and at this point I don’t see it being the savior the way these people think at least in my opinion.

Yeah don't blame you, I think the weird direction the game MIGHT go in is because of Team17s portfolio. Since HLL is a niche game it shouldn't be one of the biggest games in a company's portfolio. But because Team17 looks like they produce mainly mobile games, HLL is is their biggest game in terms of technical coding and scale. And so they can't afford it to be the niche game it needs in their portfolio. I feel bad for the person who probably risked his career with the gamble of buying the property. Because I feel like for 46 million pounds, they overbought it. But at the same time I could be completely wrong with their portfolio.

Great work! Haha that trailer is so bad. I uninstalled the game after missing like 10 shots I know would have hit if i had a mauser or any other rifle. After looking at the “glass door” reviews of what it’s like to work for the company I think the devs are disrespected and ignored like it’s the managements job to be “Alpha” but not good.
