Hi, thanks for the video. In the button.Init clsss , I believe there is a way to set up a button as a ''toggle mode'' switch so that it changes state with each press, however, the syntax for this is unclear to me. could you please type us an example of how you would set the 'init' statement to do this? . Thanks. Dave.

@electrosmithco Ай бұрын
I recommend checking out the SimpleButton code in Daisy Pod's example :) It shows how one button is set as momentary switch for turning on/off LED 1 and another LED as latching switch for toggling LED 2. So the key is the difference between `Pressed()` and `RisingEdge()`.

@electrosmithco
@electrosmithco Ай бұрын
Just for blinking the onboard LED like in this video, you can get the unsoldered Daisy Seed and start right away. But once you start making sounds, you're going to want to solder header pins to the Daisy if you do end up buying the unsoldered version. This tutorial (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpacqoiipbZseJo) will give you an idea as to how a soldered Seed is used for outputting sound out of an audio jack.

I'm sorry , I'm usually really positive in my comments , but this is the most unintuitive board on the market... I've been using , teensy , axoloty , esp32 boards for years and the daisy , though very promising , is extremely hard to setup in comparison , the pcb has barely any information on it , its extremely sensitive .... this board bums me and my students out , and some of them are far more tech savvy than me.. i hate posting this comment...

I think instead of hand holding normal arduino electronics once a month, where there's already plethora of tutorials, it might be more benifical for your target market to up the game a bit. Like multiplexing connections to the seed lib, or handleing instrument inputs. Just some food for thought, I would assume most of the people buying a seed would be people that are upping their electronic skills, not starting them. love the product, keep it up either way.
