I had this issue. Tested the batteries of my remote. The buttons on the remote to insure none were stuck down. Then unplugged the TV and left it overnight. Plugged it in next morning and watched it perform a hard reboot. So far, So good. (Magnificent Seven.)

@@tonyr9732 I'm in miui and it doesn't have wallet option I had to use an app to make a tile for it 😂 but other versions of miui have it .. they seem to want to get rid of everything lately 😞

Issue always happens to me, way I fix temporarily before I have to do it again is unplugging, and holding power button for 10 seconds then plug back in and then functions again until the issue occurs again..

Vizio must have had Zombie monkey's writing their software O.S. this last time round. Bricked my TV. I went in and did factory reset and then denied it access to my internet. Bought a Roku and I couldn't be happier. However I will never buy Vizio ever again.

When the white indicator flashes wait until it disappears, push the power button on the remote then the input. It should come back on. Vizio tvs suck!!!

Old video. I've actually replaced this TV. Moved it to the guest room. Vizio did release an update that fixed this... But it took 10 months.

So I hat you have to do is you have to pull the hdmi 1 2 or 3 out put it back in then take out the Maine power plug it’s usually connected to your wall right underneath the top of the tv so its pretty much like a automatic reset which has fixed all of are Vizio tvs

Vizios usually do that. You'd have to unplug the tv. Give it a minute. Then plug it back in. It does that sometimes due to climate that sorrounds the tv. But usually, vizios are best recommended if you want something with low budget and good cuality. The longest they can last are about 5 to 6 years if you take good care of it. I consider electronic devices like a human being if you think about it.

You don't know what you're talking about. This was a problem for over 10 months. Well known issues in the Vizio sub reddit. Literally took Vizio 10 months to issue a firmware update that finally fixed it. Although the next update broke something else. Vizio is trash. No other TV manufacturer blocks you from rolling back updates.

I don't have any problems with my d series. Why is he holding the power button on the remote? I use the vizio os and i get some stuttering on tubi but i think it's the app not the tv. I'd say it's a soundbar issue since it's light is blinking all the time. I'd unplug it for 15 minutes or overnight and remove the sound bar and see what happens.

Video is over a year old at this point. For 10 months I waited for Vizio to release a patch so this would stop. The TV would not power on unless you actually unplugged it from the wall and plugged it back in. Happened almost half of the time. 10 months it took the to fix it and Vizio refuses to allow people to roll back updates.

It still works but you cannot do it from the ADD WIDGET section. If you open the app and do it from there it still works.

Easy fix.. don't ever connect to the internet or update your Vizio.. if your streaming your TV service use a add-on USB device.. never use the Smart TV..

Nope. This problem, although fixed now, affected the Roku as well. No remote would turn it on. I had to constantly unplug it from the wall in order to be able to turn it on.

Try a factory reset. And when it asks to connect to your wifi, DON'T LET IT. I've heard people have success with this.

The new update that they did I'm having more problems with my TV than anything I've called them and they try to walk me through it worked for couple hours then doing the same thing again I complain about the new update them were less said there's nothing they can do to help me with it

A lot of complaints about this latest update. Apparently made the Antenna input real bad. Vizio more concerned about profits on data mining then on selling TVs.

My Vizio just won't let me go back to my cable mode. Now there's only antenna that let's me watch regular cable. But the screen is small. It uses to have another link but it disappeared 😢

I just received my Vizio 50' smart TV and as soon I plugged it up it had colorful lines on it like somebody dropped it!!!! How tf did they send me a broken TV. It went from colorful lines to an all black screen

There is no power switch on this TV, the OLED 55. It isn't a remote problem. This was a known issue on all the Vizio oled tvs and it took them over a year to fix. Until they fixed it you had to actually unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. Vizio sucks.
