They were unringable due to some mechanical issues with the mountings. They have been repaired. We are trying to rebuild a ringing group.

No, like the rest of us, you really have no clue what his condition was, but the autopsy showed that he had serious issues, not the least of which was an enlarged heart and a grossly compacted colon. Simple rest would not have helped either of these two conditions.
