There's a section of the Berlin Wall in the video. That came down in at the end of 1989 so I'd suggest the video is maybe 1990 onwards?

We used to go there every year, last week in May from 1989-1987. All this looks so familiar - so many happy memories there. Different holiday romance nearly every year too 😂

Thanks for posting. A fascinating window into a Britain that has disappeared in just thirty years. The program itself is not a polished or sophisticated as today’s offerings but it has a wonderful feel good factor to it that we could still do with.

I'm guessing it's at least April 1992 as that's when the Dotto train was first registered with the DVLA (Q575 HAC). The plate looks like Q575 HACS - could be Q575 HAC 5 as in fifth loco? Great video by the way, would love to be back in those early 90s arcades!

I'm inclined to agree because of the section of Berlin Wall on display, so it's at least 1990 - the wall came down in November 1989 and the video was filmed in one of the summers afterwards. 👍🏻

One of my favorite Tim Hardin songs, I have recently re-discovered Hardin's Lenny's Tune...,. I keep trying to find the video of Tim Hardin playing the piano at a concert at a family member's home in Eugene Oregon... Imagine a fantasy concert of Tim Hardin, Jackson C. Frank, Nick Drake, John Martyn, David Blue, Karen Dalton, Richard Farina, Fred Neil, Tm Buckley, Tom Jans and all the others I never got to see perform live.

You forgot to mention Joe's Bar - oysters & mussles & winkles & hot peas. Used to be in front of the Holkam Hotel (now Goldrush.) I worked in Joe's bar washing up, in 1965, then did a couple of seasons as a bus conductor. Yarmouth in the sixties - t hose were the days !!

Wow, takes me back to around 1986 and my Amiga 500, writing tunes in trackers and… Sonix of course. This track reminds me of the joy of how great the Amiga sounded back then with its ability to play samples and the sort of weird wave table type synthesis that Sonix did. Love it.
