If you start from good soil, you don't need any fertilizer. Otherwise, you can use any general purpose fertilizer.

I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago but live in the USA now. We use the taro leaf to make a spinach bhaji, callaloo and also saheena, which is very similar to the patra you made. The tubers we use a lot like potatoes to eat with stews, curries and make shepherd's pie type pies. Taro is such a versatile plant. I'm going to try growing these in large containers this year, I'm in zone 8a.

I just recently bought a Cala Lily at my local Thompsons . To my surprise it was a double Cala Lily!! I thought only one would bloom like that but all three blooms were double. Im praying that this year i get alot more and that they are double again. I didn’t know they could bloom like that.❤
