Rose of Sharon. Start out white in the morning and by evening, it's rose pink. Looks like what that plant is.

I thought it is called rose geranium. Smells so good! I dislike citronella oil smell. Mine froze last week in outdoor bed. Nursery said dig it up, repot indoors, cut to base. Is this correct?.

There were lots of little snails and other pests buried in the soil.. someone suggested using salt to kill them.. put in salt last evening.. then I read this today "Does salt stop snails eating plants? Yes, salt will kill snails and slugs. But it will also kill all the plants and living organisms in your soil, and you'll never get anything to grow there again."

I did not get powdery mildew this year on anything. I water everything at the root and just in the morning. The only plants I watered other times of day were single plants in pots. All thick seem to have this when dense. Can use spray with anything like NEEM?

My favorite. Last year I divided my plants in the fall and shared them with many friends. I am starting all over with one plant.

2 yrs later, I'm happy that I found you. Your information & visually showing what you are doing with the agave is very helpful. Question Please, I have a large agave blue planted in our yard. I was digging up a few of the pups. 2 of the pups I accidentally broke off without roots.😢. My question is.... If I let the pups callus over & then plant them. Will they root? They should root, right?

How deep does the container need to be for this plant's root system? Will it also do well as a houseplant? Does it need fertilizer? Thank you!
