@readeracingRC
@readeracingRC 10 күн бұрын
Thanks brou for the comment. the beeping sound is the DX5C transmitter. I have the timer turned on. It's in the stopwatch mode. It's set for when the throttle is applied over .5% it starts the timer. I use the system for how long a battery pack last. much more precise then looking at a clock and not knowing how much time i have really used. I find good battery last about 13-15 minutes. bad last 4-5 minutes. like i said its true timing used. I think that makes sense. im a driver not a writer. LOL. Have Fun

@@readeracingRC oh, ok yea that makes sense. I didn’t know about that function and I thought surely there is no way you were fiddling with it while driving 😆 I’m starting to put more cars on my Rugged. actually. i been wanting to use the DX5C\Rugged. There is a function that you do fiddle with while driving. Setting the "E" button and use it for sensitivity. So flying up to the ramp, Push the button and the sensitivity will only turn the wheels small adjustment, so you can keeps the Wheels in a straight line. and after the jump let the button back to normal and you can bash with all the steering. now .... does that make sense ...LOL The whole idea is keep the wheels more straight and approaching the ramp and keep from doing the inevitable Ramp Shaver. i don't like to Shave either way. LOL Have Fun ps i know what you mean by grabbing the wrong remote... frustrating .

That advice u gave on screws which i assume u meant "HEX" screws imo isnt useless. I learneds from it, and I am grateful u covered that. I have many issues with bent and broken "driveshafts" but every truck has its "weakest link". I have gotten frustrated with the lack availability of replacement parts from companies outside USA. Hence I usually opt to collect Arrma or Traxxas. It all depends. Great video. TY n happy trails.

i appreciate your checking out the channel. it sucks not being able to get parts. i would assume you looked at my vid about the driveshafts' popping out. the drive shafts are to short. removing the red ring and washers help it from popping out. i went to the extremes and ground off about a 1.5 mm off the ends where the red ring was. i have a video explaining this.; I been turning wrenches all my life, even got to turn wrenches with a couple professional mechanic from back in my motocross days.... The videos... well... not so much. i been doing this hobby for 4-5 years, but making a video is like virgin territory for me. Im hoping they will get better as time goes by.
