Hi, I have a question: following a register problem, the clerk erased all the settings and now the register is back to factory settings. Is there a way to find back the previous programmation or is it definitively erased?

How would I enter a 1 time custom price, for example if someone asked for something which we don't actually have entered in the register but we can make a price up for... Say 16.50 How would we enter that value and charge it alongside everything else?

not sure what 'nets' is but on the default payment screen there is CASH and then 6 payment buttons directly below the price. If these buttons are empty - then if you sign on as the SETTING profile, you will then see the top line flash in red. Start a transaction and go to PAYMENT - then long hold the empty buttons and add back function keys of the payment types

If we choose to manually enter each price in with the numbers, is there a way to make certain prices we are keying in nontax? Our current machine has a nontax button that we press at the end of every price we enter that’s a food product. How would that work here?

Yes - on the DEPT settings you can assign the tax rate applicable. so intitally you set up the tax settings - for example tax1 = 20%, tax2 = 5%. then on the department you department setting on the tax rate, you select either tax1, tax2, or no tax

no you cannot reduce down what is printed or not. but you can turn off automatic printing if required.

Is the Z report a end of PER day sales total report?

yes and no. techincally its a report since that individual report was run. so most common is customers run this once a day - so is an 'end of day report' but you could in theory run it every hour and each time you run it - the data is since the last time you ran it.

yes This step insures that the cash register is cleared of any totals or programming. After this procedure, the cash register is ready for programming and operation. WARNING: This is a one time procedure. Do not repeat this procedure after the cash register is programmed, it causes all programs and totals to be erased and to be default. 1. Turn off the power switch. 2. Turn the Mode key marked ‘S’ to Service Mode position. 3. Press and hold the CHECK key on key board and turn on the power switch at the same time. 4. When the buzzer beeps, press ‘RECEIPT FEED’, ‘PLU9’, ‘CLERK’, and ‘CASH’ in sequence. 5. When memory is cleared, the register prints a message “RAM ALL CLEAR OK!”

PO - is paid out - ie taking money out of the drawer. the VAT is a secondary function which isn't used on standard version. you use the VAT settings to calculate vat on receipts/reports

if you want a report to get the vat info best, the DEPARTMENT REPORT prints per department which then has the vat element per department. the figure in 'total sale' is the total sales figure (ie the net and vat added together) and below will be a vat element per department.

the easiest way is to do a master reset. remove the 2 x AA batteries, unplug from mains power. leave for 5 minutes, then plug back in and it will be reset

hi - as defaut the passwords are disabled. unless you have had the machine setup with passwords or you have enabled the password it will not ask for it. the default manager password is on the A4 helpsheet in the box or please contact us directly via our website or phone and we can provide the master passcodes

i would presume the key position is in RF - so refund mode. you should be in REG mode.
