She asks you to feel your body heavy... What kind of meditation is this. You shud feel light not heavy... Thats why i don't trust these forginers with yoga and meditation, they just induce anything stupid

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice originating in India. Its roots can be traced back to Sankhya philosophy (first written down around 700 BC but dating back to around 1000 BC through verbal teaching).Yoga Nidra is a simple yet profound technique adapted by Swami Satyananda Saraswati from the traditional tantric practice of nyasa. The Text explains the theory of Yoga Nidra in both yogic and scientific terms and includes class transcriptions of the practice. It also presents the various applications of this versatile .

I found this video 7 years ago and it has helped me over and over through that time, throughout a family member just surviving a horrific accident, my mother getting through viscous cancer treatments, my own depressing divorce, and the start of some agonising chronic conditions that have robbed me of my *usual* life... THIS video has been a place for me to rest, clear my mind, sometimes sleep, and generally feel better. Thank you so much for 25.45 minutes of utter peace. x

May you be blessed with infinite love, health, happiness, prosperity and peace. Lily and Ramananda are amazing teachers and gurus. Sincerely hope the lives of all those who have had the blessings of their teachings and who practice and share Lily’s yoga nidra, have been and /or willl be restored to perfect health. Faith, Yoga Nidra, devotion to a pragmatic yogic path, and acupuncture did it for me🙏

unfortunately - the link is not 'download' BUT scroll trough all my/our marketing and give me your email address (on which I will send you the mp3). Well - standard, why am I disappointed? Why did I expect "downloand". Good guidance otherwise.

The 16 min yoga nidra was wonderful. Why does it indicate on the recording that it is 25:45 minutes?

Thank you for this wonderful Yoga Nidra 😊 your voice is so soothing 🤗 for me it would be helpful to have reminders to remain "awake and focused on my voice" (such a small point! but for me "alert" can bring me out of relaxed a bit) also, I wonder if you also offer a short Yoga Nidra that includes a sankalpa?

Loved the short session, but itc was only 16min of the 25 min length. Just a bit confused why there's so much space at the end.

Random incorrect order of the body parts. Why did you change the order? Could have been great. But this goofy "originality" is useless vanity.

Hi, Thanks for this useful audio script. I enjoyed it. I was thinking that the audio lasts 16 minutes but the video lasts 25... maybe trimming it will give a better idea of how long is the actual excercise. Thanks

Thank you so very much for this brilliant audio. Just the perfect voice and flow for an ideal meditation session. I have a question though. Why is the duration 25 mins for a 15 minute session? Is it deliberate or just happened?

I began doing a Yoga Nidra daily after my husband was very ill. For years it sustained me. Then I got out of the practice. This lovely, deep relaxation is now helping restore my inner strength again, as my son recovers from serious surgery.
