I was wondering if the reason you changed the ending is because the piano isn’t an 88 key piano. I don’t have an 88 key piano so I had to change the ending as well and I struggled to find something nice and I love your ending so much ❤

Hi Megan. Thank you for watching my video and your nice comment 💕 I do have a 88 key piano, but I changed the ending to make it sound similar to one of his live performances of this piece. I found it more beautiful and I'm so glad to hear you liked it too. I couldn't find the sheet music for this ending, so I played by ear. I saw you linked to the sheet music in another comment. Did you follow it pretty closely, or did you add your own embellishments? All the other transcriptions I've found online are more simplified compared to how you (and Einaudi himself) play it, and I'm too lazy ro figure it out by ear 😅

@@thelivingroompianist2199 Ahhhh that's awesome! You capture the feel of that recording so well. I did end up buying the sheet music, but I get frustrated by this piece. Not because it's technically difficult or anything, but it's just so hard to really feel the right depth playing it as a piano solo, if that makes sense. Like it's an orchestral work at heart. You make it work, though. I hope you post more soon. Are you on any other platforms? Your Instagram link is broken.
