I love this game so much! I pair the baton with a linear rifle. Charge the rifle and then slap em with a charged baton and when they mini stagger hit em with the charged linear cannon. Pretty cool!

2024 has been alot of ups and downs. The ups I had in 2024 are all thanks to this channel I've gotten alot of positive feed back, met some cool people, I'm thankful for 2024 for giving me this channel, and the down is I didn't reach my goal of 500 but that is A ok guys. Failure is the best teacher we live, and we learn. And I'm gonna learn from everything I did in the past year and enhance upon it for the new year hopefully this year will be even more amazing.

As someone with more than 300 hours in this game and countless more in the entire series... these videos are super fun to watch. I dig the presentation style, the builds are cool, and it's a blast seeing someone have such a good time with it. Keep it up, Captain! Lore nugget: the Rubicon Research Institute is the organization that studied and created technology with Coral before the Fires of Ibis. Institute City was their base of operations and central hub on Rubicon III. Some minor spoilers below: The RRI are responsible for: - Basically all the knowledge that humanity has about Coral - The augmentation technology that makes 621, Sulla, and others different from average pilots (and able to hear Ayre) - All the C-weapons, the Ibis series, and Coral-based AC parts (They made the Ice Worm, Sea Spider, and others you'll face) - The Fires of Ibis themselves, which buried Institute City and created the post-apocalyptic conditions on Rubicon III - Setting Walter, Carla, and by extension 621 on their respective paths in the story

More than 300 hours in this game alone is crazy, I'm glad you enjoy the videos and the presentation for them, I love this game alot and wish I played it way sooner, I plan to continue it I hear there's multiple endings so I'm gonna have a couple series for this game lol, and thanks for the lore nugget that is insane I fought 1 of the ibis series things and had a great time 🤕🥲, I want to upgrade my AC with coral weapons if I can cause trusty rusty needs all he can get if he is to stand a chance cause I feel I haven't seen nothing yet, and wait there's there's who can hear ayre? Or am I just miss reading that and its only are character. But either way I hope ayre isn't a villain and just being the Palpatine to my darth varder.

Nice, this game is awesome i love it to, once you keep playing I recommend taming a bear or a tiger those will help anything better then the wolf or dog, even a badger will do the same fight literally everything even a mammoth lol.

(Also, stupid challenge runs are always fun to watch, not recording it but I'm beating elden ring with nothing but the claymore, no infusions, spells/incantations, buffs etc)

@Captain.B.Fang572 got fire giant like, 2nd try? Mohg phase two was evil though, legit had him on 1 hit, like 5 seperate times, I was livid. Got through godskin duo, omw to maketh and trying to beat messmer too (so much harder than I remembered). I have been upgrading and levelling, and allowed myself to use the jellyfish summon to help me out. Does like no damage, but survives enough to let me heal once or twice Its effectively a knight cosplay XD

@plaguedoctor5145 that's crazy and hey if you used the summons it's ok it's a part of the game so why not use it I use the skeleton pikeman so they can absorb most the damage and sense the can revive themselves it helps with agro strategy

And fair enough it's just that I used all the op summons when getting the six endings and dlc, so this was my was of forcing myself to get the quote-unquote true experience. (Also spammed bolt of gransax from the weapon so yeah, barely learnt a single moveset) but it has been fun so far, isnt painful because I have beaten them before, know that I can if it gets to it, I'm just doing this for the experience

That's cool as well, when I first played elden ring way before the dlc and I haven't recorded it but I used a lighting samurai build I don't know why I love lighting builds, but in my elden ring series I'm using the meteroric ore blade as my main but I still dual wield katans it's just fun for me

I'm glad you love it. And this game is amazing. I can't find any reason not to enjoy it, despite the difficult bosses, of course, but that's where the fun lies. But my favorite thing about this is honestly the scenery the amount of detail is amazing.

Ive been using it and its very good you can both use it as an opener and a punisher, the time before the explosief helps set up some charged things like a pilebunker.

Even the worst weapons have there value, just like yusei from yugioh 5ds said "every card has there value" but in this case "every melee weapon has there value" lol. But yeah the set up is nice give you access to do alot of stuff cause your setting up for a devastating blow so it's pretty good

Oh btw, that last millisecond pulse armour is called terminal armour, pops on 1ap to save you from a fatal blow (at least i think it very likely was, especially if he didnt use pulse armour at any other health amount. Ofc mightve just gotten unlucky)

So, Institute city was the defacto capital of Rubicon, being the seat of RRI (Rubicon Research Institute). The massive structure is called the Vascular plant - not really a big spoiler as you will hear Walter talk about it during the next mission. That is where the coral was originally gathered, before the Fires. The original sparking of the Fires was so energetic that is either collapsed the cave network below it (purely conjecture from Depth missions on my part) or whatever underground infrastructure the city had, plunging it into the depths and the vascular plant acting as a sort of a plug that got covered by ice and snow, effectively hiding it from the surface.

I love lore, and that is crazy, I can't wait to learn more about this game, including the lost city of Atlantis, lol, but question, and it's probably a dumb one, is where I get coral weapons, I saw a video long ago someone firing weapons that looked like the coral storm

@@Captain.B.Fang572 Depends, most of them you get through exploring, a couple from loghunting (only after beating the game though) and a few parts from the endings. Also, a small hint: In the next mission, you can find moon's treasure in the field of sunflowers. Just watch for their bite.

The RP as always is on point. I remember my first bout with the worm and I also remember s ranking it with minimal trouble. The trigger delay on the stun needle and earshot are a bich to work around. But yes shooting it as the ice worm appears is the best time

@@Captain.B.Fang572I know the ice worm can be beaten without the stun needle. You just need to use the pulse guns, or bubble guns as they're more commonly known by the community.

every time I see an armored core 6 video, I see people using those pulse guns and guns firing purple lighting. But I did see one time people were firing these weapons that look like the coral storm. Is that later stuff, or is that something else.

@@Captain.B.Fang572 the purple lightning are plasma weapons. Made bt VCPL, you should have access to one by this stage of the game. The coral gun is a ending dependent part or a log hunt part I cant remember which. But mid to late game in pkaytgrough 2 or 3 more of the cooler stuff starts showing up
