I ❤ that you as tribal youth are sharing of your culture, history, traditions & stories. Please keep sharing & raising your voice! In my family growing up a family era of 1928-70 the only reference was that my Grandfather was able to speak to as a son of a “half-breed” was with a tone dismissive or tone negative when it was mentioned & I can’t find hx beyond the matriarch side of family, so they’re may be more there. but even at a young age I could tell my own grandfather knew it was conditioned to say that & had felt shamed, (at the same time proudly wore or decorated HOPI & Navajo artistry & a lot of turquoise jewelry including curated BOLI ties). I think if he were here today he’d love & be thrilled by this information the eager & want to learn more of traditions, stories of those roots he didn’t feel he had the liberty of I’m so grateful we have evolved to give more voice & truly honor & the true land owners and tribal nations. It’s cathartic & similarly inspiring to this old gal. 💝 so please keep going!

It’s been some years since I’ve seen Mrs. Mary. She helped me make my jingle dress YEARS ago. She did the sewing.

This is something I recently been wanting to learn to do. I have a few palmettos growing on my property and want to show my children how to make baskets and fans. Keep our people’s traditions alive. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for choosing me like this because there is your channel in the videos listed on my KZbin. In difficult times like these days, your channel is steadily growing, so that your dreams come true and share the joy. Work even harder and be strong. Fighting! A KZbinr will always have to work hard to be loved by his subscribers. I think in my own way that each and every work in the channel that I do in my life on KZbin is to be loved a little more by the subscribers who support me. I am so happy that you enjoyed it. Oh, I really like it.
