I only got the base game recently, but since then all I can think about is what dlcs to buy 😂 Your videos are super helpful in the way that I can see the packs as a whole, and ngl you made me appreciate some packs that I thought I wouldn't like at all. For example the tropical pack too, I thought it's nothing special, but you really sold it for me!

I think flatten to terrain is broken on Xbox or bugged. Every time I try and place path on somewhere that isn’t flat already it carves out a giant chunk of the terrain it’s a nightmare! The lack of tutorial is shocking!!

Make sure you don't also have the tunneling option on. That option does carve out terrain underneath the path when you place it.

i’m confused when you elevate the path to become stairs you said hold down square and yours says change slope however mine says change height and there is no way for me to make stairs

You need to place at least one section of path first then you can make stairs

Great overview, Josh! Very, very excited for this DLC. I had an idea a few months ago about making a "stables" zoo with all the horse-like animals, and this DLC would really elevate that a lot. Looking forward to this release!!

If you mean using building pieces, there's no special trick to it. It works just like building anything else in the game.

I already have an elevated path on supports and don‘t know how to make a staircase from there. Because holding square and pressing L upwards only works with a path on the ground. In my case i just get a floating piece of path where i can regulate the height instead Planet Zoo really doesn‘t explain anything about such basics.

Yes, the Align to Grid setting will let you do that.

How do you stop lagging. I’ve only got 5 habitats and 2000 guests and it’s completely unplayable. It’s a joke. Am I doing something wrong?

The game can get laggy with lots of guests. Try minimizing the amount of guests your zoo can have and see if that helps.

Does anyone know how to build a Crazy Golf course on the Switch? Every tutorial I’ve seen is on PC and lets you add the holes. I can’t figure out how to do this on the Switch though. 😭
