Hello @clue___ Do you have high screeching sound when you move the arm? Does the sound comming from the the arm joint or from inside the machine? If you have screeching sound in the joint, it might have no grease. Do you grease all joints on a regular basis?

Regarding the jerkiness, yes, 1 ton excavators are usually jerkier than larger machines. Hello @deirdre444, The lever by the feet is the selector that lets you choose between controls for dozer blade and extendable tracks. There are two toggle switches bellow the walking control levers. One switch controls the light and the second switch controls the low/high walking speed. If you can find import excavator supplier that can also supply parts for import machines, then there is a lot of value in them for the money. Regarding cab models: We generally don't recommend full cabs for 2 ton excavators due to heat issues when working in the sun. It gets VERY hot inside the cab. 1) The available AC units are RV-style and run off the excavator battery, which isn't ideal. 2) The compact size of these machines makes it impossible to install engine-powered AC. 3) If you need a mini excavator with a full cab, we recommend the Rippa R22-1 Pro joyt5.com/products/rippa-r22-1-pro as the smallest suitable full cab model. @branchandfoundry560 At the moment, factory does not offer a float function on the excavator blades. Having said that, if there will be multiple requests for float function, we can ask the factory to look into it.

From what we've seen, Rippa excavators are of better quality and perform well for their intended tasks. It depends on what you need to do. If it's for personal use, a gasoline machine is a great choice in most circumstances. But if you plan to use an excavator every day or in commercial capacity, the Diesel JT5120P adds extra capabilities that will noticeably improve efficiency.
