Just a quick one on Durán, this guy has all the tools to be an absolute beast but as previous comments have said he's a nightmare to manage and he clearly thinks he should be starting every game despite Ollie Watkins performances last season. Most Villa fans will be hoping for a repeat of last seasons results and a decent run in the champions league this season but it'll be a tough ask. UTV and good luck to Everton this season.

Good pod lads! I'm a Villa fan. Chuffed with Onana. Duran is a big prospective talent. We like him but rumours are that he's a disruptive handful off the field. He's raw, undisciplined and needs some humility. He could go either way at the moment. Chelsea wanted him but pulled out after "background checks". They don't have the strength of team character to win the title at the moment. Too inconsistent. You guys showed the type of team character that I mean by staying up with a 10 point deficit. I think that De Bruine leaving would be a body blow for City but then, maybe it's time, for the sake of the rest of us, that they lost their dominance. Villa will finish top 4 again this season.

Just on goalies lads and perhaps I'm being a bit biased but Becker is just as good as Ederson with the ball and is slightly better at making saves particularly one on ones where imo hes the best in the world but as say lads perhaps with him being a red I'm a bit biased.

I think what all the noise is about concerning JD is … there was a lot of interest in him before his move to us so I think other clubs have just naturally kept an eye on the kid . I honestly believe there’s a very talented player there but peering through the letter box, it sounds like he’s an absolute nightmare to work with, we’ve heard it so many times so I guess there’s no smoke without fire .

I think most blues I have spoken too say the same thing we are very confident about it. But anyway good luck for next year lads, someone has to stop us getting 5 in a row
