I have a 209 Duke with Fude with a same or similar nib I'm not sure. I write Chinese Calligraphy and the pen writes well, but my complain is that the pen is too thin and slippery which I accidently dropped today and broke the nib. I am looking for a replacement. How does the Duke 209 compare to this pen. Does it use the same nib? Does it feel comfortable to grip at the grip area above the nib?

Is Rotring ink good to use on Pentel Fude brushpen?

I haven’t tried but Rotring ink might be more viscous and designed for use in technical pens, which might clog the Pentel Fude pen’s feed mechanism.

Hah, great little video! My trusty sketch buddies are taking me out on Sunday Urban Sketching for the first time since my knee replacement 6 weeks ago! So excited 😃. This video has got me even more in the mood, and reminds me of all the little things I constantly need reminded of 😅. Plus - sunny forecast = hat... and we shall try not to cause a traffic jam 🤣

Felicitari pentru munca depusa si pt acuarelele minunate! Acum am descoperit canalul tau si m-am abonat:) De vreo 3 luni am inceput si eu mai serios joaca cu acuarelele si sper sa cresc cat mai mult, ca de placut imi plac. De curiozitate, ce acuarele si ce pensule ai folosit aici sau folosesti in general? Cu stima, Dan

Mulțumesc mult pentru apreciere! Am folosit pensule cu fir sintetic de la Winsor&Newton Cotman 111, pentru acuarele mai multe brand-uri, precum Winsor&Newton Cotman, Daniel Smith, Rembrandt. Sketchbook-ul este din hârtie făcută din bumbac 100%, este mai scumpă dar permite mai multe tehnici de acuarelă. Hârtia de bumbac merită luată la coli mari și tăiată sau mai ieftină o au cei de la SMLT Art. Se găsește la Colorit.

Am folosit pana de curand Fabriano studio, sau Hahnemuhle, ambele fara bmbac sau cu un procent de 25% bumbac, pana cand am gasit la oferta niste hartie de bumbac pura de la Baohong. Alta viata!... Acum astept o comanda de Fabriano Artistico, pentru ca am vazut ca au dreptate toti acuarelistii, ca hartia e cel mai important material in aceasta ecuatie. La partea de culori am folosit White Nights si am testat si Schmincke Horadam, care clar e mai buna, dar nu de 2-3 ori cum e la pret fata de cele rusesti. Poate gresesc, dar asa mi s-a parut. SMLT-ul l-am testat, dar parca nu mi-a placut cum mi-a placut Baohong, care e mai rugoasa, dar zici ca pictezi pe o panza, chiar e deosebita senzatia. Si am mai testat si Hahnemuhle Expression, tot cu 100% bumbac, dar e f subtire, practic mi s-a parut mai slaba decat Fabriano Studio(varianta de celuloza)

@@bratudan Mulțumesc pentru împărtășire. Într-adevăr hârtia contează cel mai mult la acuarelă. Nu am încercat hârtia de la Baohong, iar cea de la Hahnemule confirm ca este de foarte bună calitate. Chiar și cea făcută doar din celuloză 100% este bună pentru acuarelă. Am testat și am folosit mai multe sketchbook-uri Hahnemule (Watercolor book) și chiar dacă au doar 200 gsm rezista bine la multă apă și straturi.

It can write, but it could be wiped afterwards. I would recommend permanent marker or acrylic marker such as Poska if you want that inscription to last.

The Bulletproof EEL Noodler's ink must be waterproof which I didn't know was available for fountain pens. This is the type of sketching I want to do. Thanks.

Lovely video, as always. I also had a recent 'art setback' whilst sketching a windmill in Belgium! I shall be adding an umbrella to my sketching backpack when I go back there next month! 🌧🌂😄

Thank you, Donna! I was in Belgium a week ago and caught some rainy days. It was such a temperature shock after I left Bucharest at 40 degrees C and in Brussels it was 12 degrees C in the morning. Just when I left Brussels the weather got better. 😄 Anyway regardless of weather Belgium is a sketchers heaven with all that old chic houses. 🏚️
