I like dogtra products. But it’s like they don’t actually consult dog trainers or working dog people when they develop anything.

Would the remote work better in the left hand? I am trying to decide between the 280c and 280x

@Philly_4_for_4 yes. It works better in the left hand. They have the dial in the same spot for both.

Hi, isn't it the boost button for those emergency situations where you need a high output correction immediately? How does this button actually work?
@lancestanley4205
@lancestanley4205 Ай бұрын
@@hgvenom yes. Some trainers will use the Boost button as an emergency sensation. You have the ability to set the Boost at whatever increment you want

Nicely done. Love my E collars. But yhey must be used by an empathetic handler. I can see how they can be misused. BUT they have been the best training aid for this rancher.

My grandfather was living proof of the original meaning of 'at heel' for a retrieving bird dog in the start of the 1900s ... There were once no 'long guns' with a safety and hunters got birds with a shotgun and a retriever... if they were fortunate.

Do you mind if I ask how having her walk in between someone's legs helps with mobility and balance? I don't mean that sarcastically, I'm genuinely curious. I've never seen a service dog preform that task before. I liked the part at the end when the handler (you?) was walking with the dog at their side and whenever the person moved or changed directions the dog moved with him like an extension of his body. I know people have service dogs for all kinds of tasks and not everyone needs a dog to be so in tune with them physically but I find that kind of training and behavior really marks a service dog more so than a printed collar or vest. Great work you two!
