Hello, I'm new to the game and gave your vid a look see; I thought it might help. I'm having trouble deciding which trains and routes to use. You go through the initial set up so fast, that I have no idea what you are doing. Which locomotive are you using? How do you get to the screen when you set up the route?

If you go on mountain pass and then scroll the middle one where you can then select class 03 hope that helps.
