any pull-up variation success comes down to grip strength, lat strength, and, most importantly is relative strength. The simplest way to do bodyweight exercises is to decrease body mass, but that is always focus on increasing strength through progressive overload

Its called a versa pulley - the resistance is conical so as the cable coils around the cone the resistance increases

the plates are color coated to match the colors of olympic standard weights in kilograms reds 25 kg blue 20kg yellow 15kg green 10kg, white 5kg then back to red in the same order 2.5kg, 2kg, 1.5kg 1kg .5kg
