I miss the good old quartet sound. My family has deep roots in gospel music. They had a group called The Happy Harmony Quartet from Chattanooga, Tennessee. I posted some of their albums. www.youtube.com/@MrSouthwillrise/videos

Oh the booth brothers have the greatest voices. Can imagine the ones in heaven are singing this song. The man in the audience wrote the song. Wonder what he thinks. I am certain the booth brothers touched his heart. I can cry my master to my master Jesus who died on the cross for my sins.

I wrote Amazing Grace Is The Sweetest Song I Know in the spring of 1992. It was written for the funeral of Lorraine Atkinson whose youngest son Gary was like a second father to me. Lorraine was licensed as an evangelist by The Church of the Nazarene. The song was written in French and translated into English.

Ivan Parker and I wrote Roll On Jordan during our honeymoon in Israel. We went just after dawn to wade in the Jordan River and I got swept downstream by a flash flood. Ivan was an Olympic swimmer and he dived in to rescue me. He told me not to fight him so I didn't. We drifted downstream several miles before there was a bank shallow enough to get out of the River safely. Then we had to hike back up the River Valley to where our chaperones Howard and Vestal Goodman were anxiously waiting for us. This song was written in French and translated into English.

_Roll on Jordan_ was recorded by the *Jordanaires* in 1957, the *Florida Boys* in 1961, the *Statesmen* in 1968. *Ivan* was born in 1957. Notice any incongruity?
