The visual that Heather creates from Ephesians 2:6 is so hopeful and encouraging. Blessings!!

Jonah was eaten by a massive fish according to scripture. Ostensibly this creature was unique, but is often presupposed to be a whale on account of one being large enough to eat a man; however I find the best way to interpret scripture is to let the Bible interpret itself. Ergo, it remains safe to assert that whatever consumed Jonah had scales and wasn’t mammalian. Great discussion though.

Wow. this was so inspiring! It has the same effect for me as saying to myself, "The Lord is my portion." If the Lord is our portion, and we're seated with him, what else would we want?

I would love to hear what advice you would give to dating parents of very small children. Ages 1, 3, and 6. These kids with the exception of the 6 year old are so small they won’t remember life prior to the present. How would you advise how to even start that process?

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30 All the ways of the Lord are perfect Lord help us to abide in you to be fruitful according to the Holy Spirit and to experience true rest Amen

@@mollymuch2808 True But the good news 1.We didn't just step on it ( on it from birth) and so the earlier we start taking note of it, the better for us 2. By the grace of God and the work of the Holy Spirit we can take control of what appears to be out of control. I say appears because God is in control and He is the one ordering our steps. Thanks for the reminder A great podcast * P.S. love ya doesn't do the same Say I love you

Robert, your wedding to Nancy recently popped up on my KZbin. I finally watched and was totally absorbed with your story and Nancy's story..I also watch your daughters tribute to Bobbie. You are so easy to love. I love the Shepherding your wife thoughts. My husband of 38 years transitioned to Heaven in 2007 from a massive heart attack at age 62. God bless you and Nancy.

I loved listening to Kevin Harris say it took him 12 years after he went in his first mentoring group until he started a second group. I also appreciated his honesty in saying the previous night he got into a conflict with his 12 and 14 year old sons and if you had been a fly on the wall, you wouldn't have thought he would have anything worthwhile to say. Honesty is what men are looking for, not perfection. I was greatly encouraged after listening to "Kevin and Kevin" that this is something anyone can do!

Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say the Holy Spirit convicts believers. I know that he came to convict the world of it’s sins, however as a believer my understanding is he teaches and leads us into all truth. So what is he convicting a believer about??
@mypublic85072 жыл бұрын
The answer is no. It's not provable without the Bible and the Bible is not even proof
