But the Abrahamic tithe wasn't obligatory! But the livitical one was obligatory.

If you can show one (1) scripture where the apostles taught the church tithe, or collected tithes. I'm not against giving NO.

I have a question, why should I give the church the money, when in the new testament, the money was distributed to those in needs such that everyone can see but in modern churches, they use it to build bigger churches or enrich the GO? Spend time to get the Pastors to go back to the basics of church before you work on members to keep giving

In talking abt d kingdom of His Dear Son, righteousness, peace n joy in d Holy Ghost must be captured. If I ever receive d gift, I should see, righteousness (d ability to stand right both before God n d devil), peace n joy. The three culture of d kingdom; righteousness, peace n joy in d Holy Ghost. This aspect of your teaching tonight truly resonate with my spirit. Many thanks Dear Pastor. Amen to d prayers.

The new testament does not say 10% is the minimum. That is just his cooking. The Apostles being the embodiment of the continous presence of Jesus Christ NEVER GAVE A MINIMUM OF TITHE.
@wllingtonsingh5080Ай бұрын
People have to be careful with the interpretation of men to validate tithing.God is more concerned about your holiness towards him than your giving.Many people think if they give tithes and live however they want God will bless them.Why did Jesus said about the woman who gave a penny she has given more than everyone else,because her heart was in the right place with the Lord.Also the bible says you must purpose in your heart what you going to give.Jesus is our High Priest and Sacrifice.Jesus paid taxes why these prophet and apostle don’t pay taxes,but they say to you you should pay taxes.

The teaching on the authenticity of tithing is ok. But some other extra biblical suggestions don't seem to tally. If a couple are salary earners and they write away all 100% for tithing, how do they pay their bills as you told us that bills are paid by money and not by miracles? And we are taught that it through the work of our hands that we are blessed and when we work we write off the whole to tithe, it doesn't balance

So is Abraham a pharisee by giving 10%?

Why can't Able Damina come to your office privately in Church office and learn from you instead of him destroying himself and destroy others, this is my humble request, even though I know that it takes a teacheable and humble spirit to learn from others,pride makes people think they know it all

Abraham tithing was done before the establishment of the old testament(Moses law). Tithing in Moses law had a different flavour

I think by pegging the % amount to give have make giving a law. That has contradict free will offering as laid down by the apostle in 2Corinthians 9:7-8. Am I right? Though I pays my tithe as my church docrine.

@waynemc........ I totally agree with you. Everyone admits that we should give but tithes and first have not been taught nor practised by the early church. And Jesus himself didn't teach them. Shalom !

Behold The Man who rescued me when I thought ALL was lost. A Great Man of GOD called Pastor Ghandi Olaoye. 24 years ago it was. The Day I first met him, he preached on a sermon he labelled " You shall come Out of Lodiba". I was seating way in the back because I came in with an idea in my mind which was I want to listen to the last sermon of my life here on earth. By the time Pastor Ghandi was done, I was ready to start again. A MAN I will NEVER forget. Stay blessed SIR.
