Divine. Marina Rebeka is so supremely talented and versatile. Magnificent production and set. Norma is such a difficult opera so many opera houses never have it in their schedules as it has to be absolutely epic. Teatro Massimo really did this masterpiece justice.

THE ART THAT HIDES THE ART. I WATCHED AND LISTENED WHILE BEING UNAWARE THAT MR HVOROSTOVSKY WAS SO NEAR THE END . INDEED I WOULD WISH HE HAD HAD A MORE BEAUTIFUL SET TO ALLOW HIM TO BE MORE COMFORTABLE AND RELAXED....THE WIERD PLACINGS OF SEATS AND SUDDEN POINTLESSS RUNNING AROUND OF VIOLETTA....DISTRACTS FROM THE MUSIC....THAT COMPLETELY BREAKS ANY MUSICAL MOOD OF THE SCENE.....IT MAKES A MESS OF VERDIS DRAMA....AND BOTH SINGERS HAVE TO WORK TWICE AS HARD TO 'RE ESTABLISH THE EMOTIONAL TENSION.

Beautiful - the simplicity and sincerity of the staging gives more power to the voice. Perhaps the most poignant act in all opera. The dignity of both. Exquisite. Sadder than ever to listen now knowing the great Hvorostovsky will not sing this in this world again.

Gracias Marina Rebeka por dejarnos ver y oír este documento maravilloso. TE ESPERAMOS EN EL TEATRO COLÓN DE BUENOS AIRES. CAEREMOS A TUS PIES DISFRUTANDO DE TTU ARTE. En cuanto a este dúo, es de los MÁS HERMOSOS EN VIVO que he oído y visto. Es de una PROFUNDIDAD, que sólo un sordo no puede darse cuenta. Es desgarradoramente hermoso. Es tan vivo, tan real, que parece que SUCEDE, que es verdad, que no es actuación..... Y eso ocurre pocas veces. Ya no se admiten, ni comparaciones, ni pretenciones..... Solamente uno se pone frente a una obra de arte y la CONTEMPLA. Y CALLA. NO EXIGE NI MÁS NI MENOS, SINO LO QUE ES. Y a veces los, espectadores deberíamos ser eso :agradecidos por lo que el artista nos ofrece en toda su integridad. (vale decir un brava también para la directora de orquesta que dibuja muy bien la historia). GRACIAS POR ESTE HECHO DE ARTE TRASCENDENTE. BRAVI E GRAZIE MILLE.

Только что посмотрела нечто грандиозное Arena de Verona 2019 года с помпезными декорациями и костюмами и никакими голосами. Этот фрагмент потрясающее ❤. Не знала, что у М. Ребеки такой изумительный голос!

Anyone who has ever sung in concerts appreciates this extraordinary performance by the two protagonists, although I have always admired Dmitri anyway. But this - basically probably unmusical, at least highly envious person here should be ashamed. And she has no idea of musicality anyway. Even in normal life she will have no empathy, no feelings. PS. Sorry for my bad English, but I could not keep silent about this even blasphemy... And I especially thank you for saving your honor, especially for Dmitri, on his way to where all people go one day. Thank you a thousand times!!!
