For me, 60 g citric acid in 4.5 litres is adequate. Neutralized by baking soda 80 g to make it back to ph 7. Let it idle for 45 minutes. Wait for cool down at least 45 minutes also, drain and fill with water, repeat twice. then fill with good coolant. Pretty nice result. More than 100 cars have done, all cleaned and shined, no leak results. back, I tried 100g and 75g of citric acid in 4.5 litres water too, in 60 minutes idle, the result = old radiator leaking everywhere start at 50 minutes and forward. It 's near as hard as commercial radiator flush.
