She has an amazing voice and can probably sing just about anything. But she is yelling it a bit too much for me.

What a waste of a great jazz singer. How can she stand singing anything else ? Money I suppose.

She getting the standing ovation from this crowd moved her to tears. Music she herself loves and has so much respect for, but outside of her comfort zone, just paying respect to this great tradition.

if may make a reservation/suggestion: quelling the drama a little bit, esp. after the intro (@ ~1:30), more careful handling of the emotion lever. big big thanks for choosing to tackle this v special song - to the ensuing!

Love this song…. Can do a decent job myself with this….. Johnny Hartman style….Nat King Cole does a great job as well, of course…

Love the growth she has undergone under Tony Bennett's wing! This is technically a really tough song to sing. Sinatra could never master it. The only criticism I have of this performance of the song is that it's "too much Cher" in that it's a lot of power that never achieves soft landings. With this in mind, I'd say "less Cher, more Natalie Cole".....she mastered the transition from power to feather soft landings in this song.

Outstanding. I always saw the color blue whenever I heard or played this song. Guess I wasn’t the only one…

Just because you can, it does not mean you should. Gaga is EXTREMELY talented, probably one of the BEST singers of her generation, but this one is way way beyond her level. Talent is also respecting your limits.

it takes a lot of bravery for most singers to even attempt this song. She relishes it. fantastic vision of what Strayhorn started. My god this is good....great!

The best performance of "Lush Life" I know of (including Cole, Sinatra (verse only) and Strayhorne himself. Lady Gaga is not just singing, she's opening her soul.

Lady Gaga is a brilliant, next-level artist who rarely is mentioned in todays' Philistine culture.

One of my favorite songs. Gaga does a great job here, but I still prefer Queen Latifah's version from the movie Living Out Loud. Gaga's version is the definition of brassy, whereas Queen Latifah's is smooth as silk.

I knew Lady Gaga could sing. This magnificent rendition proves once and for all thst she can SING!! An incredible voice, perfect pitch and breath control. Notice i say pitch control, not singing on key. She is tuning the chords to perfection. One thing stands out and that is her masterful use of vibrato. Exactly the right amount at exactly the right time. Too many singers hit a note and warble, so the chord never gels. She posts the note perfectly, only warming it at the end.

First heard of this song by Lady Gaga with this rendition and i really like it. But then i found Queen Latifah movie soundtrack version and that become my favourite version. I prefer the more subdue and jazzy version. Lady Gaga version now felt too 'harsh' vocally.

Though She did sing a clam or 2(funny notes) she still sang her butt off! This is a difficult, tricky jazz standard to perform and she gets top kudos for her passion and artistry
