Had no idea the pitch was below ground level, it's pretty cool when they do that. The Etihad looks great and they give you a really good show introducing the players. The price of shirts is ridiculous now! Pete's looking forward to Everton's new stadium next season...as long as they're still in the Prem 😂

@PS_Travels Yeah was wild finding that out, don't think many people are aware of it. The prices on those shirts were something else, there was actually another section I forgot to record where some guernsey's were £300! Fingers crossed for Pete and Everton 🤞🏼

@@BertAbroadThe more time you spend in Bonnie Scotland you come to realise that its not as wet&windy as people say!!!!. For instance, 2022 saw Loch Ness drop by THIRTY FEET!!. May to July average temperature 30 degrees!!. Thousands of acres burnt by wildfires!!!. Due to lack of rain, restrictions on water extraction from rivers!!!. I spent SIX months, t-shirt&shorts, enjoying the glorious DRY weather😎😎😎👍👍👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Is that paint on the walls supposed to be original? I can see why they put shielding around a lot of it to keep people from putting their grubby hands on it.
@BertAbroad
@BertAbroad 9 ай бұрын
Yes the paint on the walls are original, they actually have special air filtration and ventilation systems in there to help preserve everything. Then every once and a while during restoration works (because people do touch everything) they go in a do a deep clean using special techniques that doesn't harm the paint. They also rotate blocking off certain sections to minimise foot traffic to help preserve everything a little longer.
