If your vision is to come true, my advice is become a secondary/primary school teacher first for at least 7yrs. The best teachers are those who inspire through their own passions/intrests/knowledge/experience/humanity. And like a guru the teacher lights the students light/fire with the teachers own light/fire. There is a flaw in your vision. Ironically the solution you envisage is a good solution that would only work for a system you seek to interrupt. A system which requires students to learn and memorise, information and skill and reproduce it under test conditions within the parameters of the carriculum, which is there as a standardising structure to measure the ability to learn that carriculum. Your idea is so nobel in its motive but all i see happening is an AI can only help create more AIs'. It feels as 2 dimensional as the femenist phrase ' child care'. Where in actual case it is child rearing. But 'child care' is now what child rearing has become as it was reduced to 'child care'. Any parent who takes the time out to reare their children and those for whatever reason have nannies/child minders know the difference. And there are consequences, just look at the number of children ready to divorce themselves from their parents just because their ideologies no longer match, and other damaging effects.

I don't get how the cost is lower if you know about it sooner. The bearing is replaced either way, unless you're a moron and let it get to the point where the bearing is so far gone it destroys the bearing mount itself.

I don't understand the argument. Killing has no link to patriotism. If anyone thinks it does is because they got indoctrinated as colonizers. The only thing that makes killing for patriotism "ok" is because the government allows it. It suits them to send people to kill other country's citizens. They decide the reasons. In other words, if a "basic citizen without any power" is not allowed to kill another, then killing shouldn't be glorified or considered good. It is just another exemple of the mighty deciding what is allowed and for what reasons, it rarely has anything to do with what is good or not. Its often about abusing those who trust what they are saying. Do you think many cultures kill others when they don't desperately need resources to survives? Do you think many kill when they are not trying to control something? So yes, I think we should expect AI to know a basis of good and evil when it comes to all human lives not just based on particular geolocations. I think it is our responsibility to create some safeties for that not just as americans, canadians, russians, autralians, chinese or whatever but as human beings. Lets try to avoid some of the common pitfalls we have been perpetuating for millenias because we just think of our borders.
