That’s my brother, while I don’t condone his actions the spot I was fishing did not have a spot to safely release any fish, If you watch till the end I had to walk into the mud to release the biggest of the bass I caught.

way to fast on that retrieve. Give the fish more time to attack

Add a pause to your retrieve more often. Adding a rhythm is the best medicine. So the fish can time his attack. If there is no pause or rhythm it is more likely to miss.
