I have an acquaintance whe kept a dozen ducks in her garden. Because of foxes (UK) she only let them out under her supervision. One day she needed to go quickly to the shops and decided to take a chance leaving the ducks unsupervised. When she returned 20 minutes later all 12 ducks were dead with their heads eaten. There is no point expecting foxes to be anything other than foxes. It is all they know and are capable of. There is a difference in assessing something without judging that it ought to have been different. So supervise and take care of your ducks,, do what you need to do, but don't blame the fox for being a fox - it is not the fox that feels that judgement..

They are brainwashing the new doctors already!!! Psychiatric doctors and medical doctors ! I had to get a new primary doctor he wanted to give me an antidepressant for chronic pain I told him I don’t like them they make me crazy I yell at my family members gives me anxiety. He said they have discovered when that happens they found out people are actually bipolar.Hd was asking me if anyone else in my family are bipolar brothers, sisters parents, children?? Im 63 years old. I am not bipolar. It was never suggested in my life I was bipolar. So my 1 st visit before I left he gave me a prescription for Abilify . He’s the psychotic one not me!!! When I went back Ia month later he asked how the new med was working I told him I didn’t start it I was very confused. I asked him exactly why did you prescribe Abilify? He was shocked well we discussed it I feel you will have a better quality of life. I flat out told him I will not take any bipolar antidepressants antipsychotic or anti convulsant medication . He passed me off to another doctor in the practice! Crazy he thought I would just take it! He was a new doctor practicing only a year or two .

I understand what the dr meant i personally believe that true mental illnesses are neurological. That being said he was full of manure when he said that you needed to be on these drugs or your condition would get worse . If he actually believed this then he should have ordered scans that way the treatment could be taylored to your recovery.

I want to know why psychiatrists know dam well the brain damage such as antipsychotics but continue the abuse and lies . Are they simply sadistic immoral types with no conscience and are drawn to psychiatry because they enjoy the power and freedom to destroy people with out consequences . I take lithium which has helped me . I was prescribed an antipsychotic . I said thanks and binned it . I discuss nothing with my psychiatrist . I have a brilliant private psychologist unknown to my psychiatrist . So I need a psychologist to help with the absurd behaviour I see in the day psychiatric hospital . When coming off a drug do it in the summer months .

Like all of you I miss my Mama SO, SO bad. My Brother and I lost her ON our Daddy and his twin Brother's Birthday, April 26, 2018. My life hasn't been the same and never will be again. I think of her, and I still cry everyday. She was my rock, my best friend. She gives me signs even to this day that she's alright. I know she's well and happy in Heaven now. Yet, that doesn't stop my daily pain of all the things she and I should be doing, the daily phone calls, the girls weekend trip that we missed, because she went away the day before it was to happen. The last thig she said to me 2 days before she left was "I love you baby girl". Her passing wasn't expected and I never got to say goodbye. NOTHING is the same anymore. My heart literally hurts. R.I.P Mama until we meet again. I love you SO, SO much!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭

The problem with this guest and his designation of “cult” is the same problem the DSM has. He has this arbitrary criteria of what a “cult” is, or what “mind control” means. It is so subjective that it easily can expand and expand to fit any predetermined bias. Honestly any religion can be put under this designation. I know he has designated my own religion, Scientology, as being such as I have seen him interview and validate and believe the stories of a man who is an admitted wife abuser who left my church. So it seems he will buy any anyone’s story that fits that narrative of his “expertise”. If you look at how people portray Scientology, it isn’t so different from how early Christians were portrayed shortly after the death of Christ, or how Lutherans were portrayed at the beginning of the protestant reformation. my question is what are the criteria for making sure that this designation is not assigned to groups that do not deserve it? I doubt there is any such criteria for any care taken on that side of the equation. And actually, this is further proven by the fact that his recent book where he calls it “the cult of Trump“. To be clear, I am not a fan of Trump at all, but I’m very aware as to how this word cult is thrown around indiscriminately. The actual practical use of the word cult in today’s world appears to be “that person has a philosophy or believes in something that I cannot possibly understand, therefore, my only conclusion is that they must have been tricked into it or have been brainwashed into believing it”. Honestly, this is no more scientific than any DSM designation.

Dear Dr Cohen, I read 'Toxic psychiatry' in 2004 and the book you wrote with your wife and l'AGIDD: 'Le guide critique des médicaments de l'âme', which I believe is the only book that gives a tribune to psychiatrized people in Québec. I also discover Dr Pier Maria Furlan from Italy...(unfortunately deceased) on KZbin titled: 'Comment vivre avec la folie/ça se discute'....At about one hour and 47 minutes he is introduced as a guest. He said he tried Haldol, and explains the side effects and how long it took him to come back to his normal state of mind. Dr Furlan also encouraged the psychiatrists to try it too. The groups defending patients' rights : if they have a lawyer (there was one in Trois-Rivières) who told me to use satin gloves to address my concerns to my son's psychiatrist. In Halifax Nova-Scotia we had Me Kaiser a Professor from Dalhousie University who helped the patients from the Nova-Scotia Hospital and Abbey Lane one. We also had an ombudsman (Gerald Haché) who made a difference into my life as a committed patient from December 8th 1995, until April 1st 1996. Six months refusing all meds they offered me. Anyhow I wish to write a book someday. Long life to you both and may bio-psychiatrists disappeared for good. Hope psychiatrists like Dr Abram Hoffer, Dr William Glasser, Dr Daniel Dorman, Dr Peter Breggin and soooo many others get to be known. Thanks for reading me and long career to you both. God blesses you both.

My son Martin is on Clozaril (170 mg/day) and Vraylar. He went through 21 hospitalisations since 2010 in Québec Province. His 21st one in September 2023. He now sleeps more than 14 hours/day. I cannot find any doctor to help him weaning off his meds. Luc De Bry sent me infos about his son Valère who has been weaned off his Clozaril. My son gained 150 pounds and weighs 300 pounds from his original weight in 2004 (He was diagnosed in Nova-Scotia then and weighed 165). He was a canoe/kayak competitor with the Sac-A-Wa canoe club for 8 years. He was an athlete. Unicycling, downhill ski, etc. His psychiatrist Dr David Olivier is his treating psychiatrist here in Shawinigan, Québec. I am a survivor of bio-psychiatry, weaned off from lithium, etc. since March 2005. I had an Emeritus psychiatrist then (Dr William Ormsby McCormick) who respected my wish to wean off my psychmeds. I am a natural carer for Martin (since February 2010). I am now 72 years old and wish for Martin to get off Martin from his shrink too. My three other sons will not get involved neither, and Martin's father refuses to acknowledge his existence since 2012. I am also a ritual abuse survivor (See, Shamai Currim who helped me a lot and the International Conference : S.M.A.R.T.) from other ritual abuse survivors. I wish Dr Cohen that tyou could help me , referring me a doctor to save Martin's fate. Martin has severe sleeping apnea because the Clozaril makes him over-salivating and he cannot use his CPAP. Dr Sébastien Perron (a pneumologist) evaluated his apnea problem more than two years ago. The powerful hierarchy of doctors is such. His family doctor cannot convince Martin's psychiatrist to change his Clozaril to 'Solian' (the psychmed Dr Olivier had said he would use instead of clozaril). I am so discouraged being isolated not being able to use titration (See Carole Advices on KZbin...the best expert to wean off psychmeds). I have bought Dr Olivier two books from Dr Breggin (Your drug maybe your Problem and the last one he wrote to help wean off properly from Psych meds...) I wrote to Dr Olivier many times with respect and have no influence on him. Please I hope you read my text soon. Leaving you with my email address, crossing my fingers and praying. Martin is a gentleman and o not deserve to sleep his life away. Thanks much for reading me. From: [email protected]

The general message of this video is good, except for the little bit of pandering that is going on by the guest. Specifically, there is no situation where psych drugs should be used even for the worst schizophrenics. Psych drugs should be banned, period. If we want to win this battle, we can’t pander or be made to be uncertain by leaving the door open for any use of these drugs.

I was the same in school. Only difference, I was black and everyone else was white. I was just “crazy” or “stupid” because I saw everything in a compete whole. I couldn’t explain it. I saw everything at once. I couldn’t understand how bo one else could. I see it so clear. So I was never fitting in any group I knew. Everyone always told me I was different. But to them different was crazy, bad, not normal. And I am. All that. Please. Help me hone it.

Dr. Gotzche talks about people going from one mental diagnosis to another diagnosis and getting medicine for each diagnosis. Isn’t that what happens in the Physical diagnoses too. We get diagnosed with one physical diagnosis. And then were given other diagnoseses and for each diagnoses were given drugs.

Right now psychiatrist are diagnosing people with schizophrenia and delusional disorders that may not actually have such a mental illness due to v2k and the like. V2k isn't a made up term. It is confirmed technology mentioned on the army's website at one time. There are the powers that are trafficking people through technology to mental hospitals that are whistleblowers and political dissidents and the perpetrators are likely engaging in human trafficking in other ways outside of technology alone. Psychiatry projects and protects norms of conformity and while in a mental hospital the only news you'll get is from the mainstream establishment peddling half truth and lies to brainwash any onlookers. Havana syndrome or rather aquired neuralsensory dysfunction affects not only government workers but civilians as well as a civilian like Dr.Len Ber is also diagnosed much the same. Things like Woody Norris in his presentation at Ted Talks of ultrasonic sound or how v2k or voice to skull is still on the Federation of American Scientist website says enough about what is going on from real genuine scientific based means in likely some cases, the diagnosis one recieves from a psychiatrist isn't based in science, merely conjecture and power of opinion afforded to psychiatrist who are uninformed and often wilfully so.

Parkinson Disease is listed on my son's Death Certificate as the cause of my son's death. The immediate cause of his death was cardiopulmonary arrest. He would never had Parkinson's symptoms in the the first place if... if the MDs (psychiatrists) had NOT prescribed the powerful, devastating meds that they did. My son never had a chance. My son could have survived a disability, but his body and mind could not withstand the incessant variety of potent, destructive meds that were prescribed to him for years by every psychiatrist that he "worked with"... As a father and conservator, I deeply, deeply regret that I did not oppose vigorously the attempts by these psychiatrists to carte blanche give destructive meds to my son. The prescribed meds worsened his condition, depressed and weakend his brain and his body and eventually killed him. I swallowed all their medical school malarkey and B.S.without question, that was my weakness in deferring to "experts..."

Actually it doesn't make you feel better, it makes you feel less, or not at all - which is entirely different. And no one really knows how, we only know they are detrimental to health. And that their effects may be ingrained in the brain for many years. And that outcomes are actually worse on them. That would be total honesty. Very few people would sign up for that.
