Still one of my favorite movies! I grew up listening to Mozart and classical music. My mother listened to it until the day she died. It was always played on her her kitchen radio. From morning to night it was on. I was an adult when i began to really appreciate the peace and calm it gave mom, it does the same for me now❤ I miss you mom❤

Still makes me laugh is that the show was intended for a female audience and yet I think just as many young dudes were watching it for obvious reasons, this was the pre-internet days afterall...

How you found footage of such an obscure song is incredible, if only all 60s masterpieces had videos like these floating around

I love this song and at the time, 1986, wanted to get it on 12". I saw the 7" in either Woolworths or WH Smiths and bought it. I then saw the 12" in the other shop and purchased that. I could have taken the first one back, but I chose to keep it. I still have them. I was 9 at the time. They were the first band I got into. Shortly after, it was Status Quo and a bit later Hawkwind. Status Quo and Hawkwind are still my favourite bands, but I love The Housemartins too. I doubt their lyrics meant anything to me, aged 9, but I loved the tunes. I can now appreciate the lyrics but it's the tunes I love that do it for me the most.

They nearly got the Christmas number 1 in the same way as The Flying Pickets 3 years prior but only denied by the late Jackie Wilson due to the frenzy of its animated music video as seen on Arena.

Around this time....promoting her book... she dragged along this "Catherine" woman who was described as her assistant. I wonder what that woman was really up to. Anyway, much of this interview is fake in the sense that many of the questions and answers were staged. For example, the face lift quip is entirely fake, and I think this was done to liven things up because the interviewer was a dunce, and all Bette wanted to do was promote her book. She was passed after this interview.

If the real Mozart and Salieri were alive in 1985, this is exactly how I'd imagine them to look like in an interview

Was this a concert of KTP alone, or was there a bigger line up? Cant imagine they get a soldout Feyenoord stadium. 😮

It was a charity 'super' concert... Kid Creole, Kim Wilde, Jermaine Stewart, lots of Dutch bands including the Normaal, Herman Brood, No idea who headlined though.
