Are the SA10 missiles self destructing? Is that because you are flying low?

@@shomke yes to both. When they losetracking for a period of time the SAM system self destruct the missile

Hey EMPTI. Have been enjoying your content since I found it a few days ago. Have one suggestion. Your sound output has been very low the past couple of videos. In this one there was no aircraft sound at all that I could tell. Keep up the good work.

I don't know why the game audio did not record. Luckily this video is more to see the Afghan map. The video I made last night that I will be uploading later does have game audio so this is weird. Thank you.

Which kneeboards? Some are produced by the 1st vAEW for standards, others that are mission specific were attached to .miz file by the mission maker, and I other personal ones too.

I'm glad this one worked out for you mission wise, I had to run it 3 times, first 2 the helo's crashed on lift off but nothing was said, so I flew case until I both I and my wingman were Winchester twice, then on the third run the helo's managed to get there, extract the pilot and be headed back out before I even reached the IP...I mean a win is a win, but it felt odd... The CAS in the confines of the valley was fun though

EMPTI, thank for doing this video! I just learned so many things (and reinforced a lot too). The gun-pipper SOI/SPI is a game changer! I've got the basics of the A-10CII down, but still working through all the things it can do, this has been a big help

Appreciate you posting this video, but you need to walk us through what you are doing. I am new to dcs and would like to learn the a10. I didn't get much from this.

Very good flying. All I would add is. On departure. Start a 30° left bank. Level off with Vegas just outside your hud left side. 5 miles out. Another left pull. Keep Your flight path marker around 3° climb. This allows your flight to rejoin without burning to much gas. Your flight will be formed up as you pass 17000 into Sally corridor. Ive seen dozens of videos where the rest of the flight runs out of gas on the way back to the tanker if you dont link up before your push time. Just a suggestion
