I have a 2015 15" MacBook Pro with a 512GB SSD. I want to upgrade to a Samsung 4tb SSD - The question is: If I upgrade to the 990 Pro, will the drive operate at maximum performance, or will the limitations of the 2015 MacBook Pro throttle it's performance? If so, what would be the best drive for me to get for that computer, that would not be throttled by the limitations of the computer? A 980 Pro...? A 970 Pro...?

My fan doesn't spin it Does make a slight buzzing sound when its plugged in ....But the second problem is the motor itself is heating up and the longer its plugged in the hotter it becomes. What could be the cause of the motor heating up is it because its not spinning or are the copper windings of the motor damaged

I have a Barrcuda ST2000DM001. The disk is in good shape with a bad circuit board. I have a replacement from an identical hard drive. I'm using a simple docking station to access my data but it won't spin up. I suspect the docking station is the problem. What are you using to connect your hard drive to the computer to access the data? This is huge as I am in the middle of writing a book that I can only access through the hard drive. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

READ ME FIRST!!! I’m extending nothing but gratitude to the video creator. If all you’re doing is replacing your round steering buttons because the graphics are worn out . Don’t spend $50 or more. Just pry the rubber button pads out. With anything preferably plastic but frankly, you can pull them out with your fingers start from the right and on the left are two thin rubber locking tabs with perforations. If your gentle enough you can remove them without tearing the tabs but it’s not important you’re gonna throw them out anyway.. Simply re-insert the new tabs with your fingertips. It’s so easy. You don’t have to take anything apart. You don’t have to disconnect your battery. You don’t have to worry about your airbags exploding. You don’t even have to remove the silver brackets. Easiest job in the world. You can purchase a pair of new touch pads for only $10 even on Alibaba. But you may be able to find them on eBay or something decent from a junkyard. . From a junkyard just pulled them out being careful not to rip those tabs since you’re going to keep those. But you’ll be happiest if you buy the new ones for 10 bucks.

These fake aftermarket batteries people are complaining it has half the battery life of original, and after a few months it becomes way less. Plus it who knows it could just blow up on u or start a fire.

@1:06 it's probably irrelevant due to age of the video but to me it looks like the keyboard cable is not all the way in... if it is properly inserted you should only see the black ribbon not the white connectors. You should use tweezers to align the cable and then insert it fully. I had the same issue when removing mb and once properly inserted the power button started to work! I hope it helps someone with the similar issue... :)
